As a french MMA fan living near Marseille, France (what a beautiful place), I'm really pumped for this. Lobov may not be the best fighter of the world, but he's kind of a cult character, and a real warrior. I still think Djiroun will win a competitive decision, but this should be fun to watch.
Maldonado vs. Merad

Maldonado is nearing the end of his career, as his legendary durability is now gone, but he should still be able to win this one. Win ot lose I really hope he retires after that, he had a memorable career, with a huge win (yes it was a win) over Fedor.
Silva vs. Barnett

Really sad to see Bigfoot losing by brutal KO again and again. Hope it's the last one.
Geven vs. Baghdad

Mehdi Baghdad had a memorable run in The Ultimate Fighter, winning a fun fight against Artem Lobov, and he also had a really competitive little war vs Makdessi in the UFC, the decision could have gone either way... After that, he kinda lost his motivation I think. Hope he shows up. Rooting for him, as he is from Toulon (like myself), near Marseille, almost fighting in his hometown here.

Artem Lobov, Fabio Maldonado, and Bigfoot Silva really are huge names in MMA, and the French fighters were talented too.
Marseille and all the south of France has a huge combat sports community, and I'm sure the event would have been a major success.
I leave very nearby, and I would love to be there in person whenever this will be resheduled.
