2 of Japan's best young up n coming boxers. I wish the rest of the world followed the Japanese way of matchmaking. Its very similar to MMA. Even match ups from the beginning of your career, no issues if you lose a few, you still get matched up well, no fascination with the 0. Makes for much more entertaining cards

Ryo Akaho Won via 2nd Round TKO against Yuto Nakamura

Kai Chiba Won on Points against Haruki Ishikawa by a UD verdict with scores of 80 - 72, 80 - 72 and 79 - 73 giving Chiba a commanding victory against his young opponent

In the Main Event of the evening, which was a 10 Round Non-Title Lightweight bout between Masayuki Ito Vs Hokinori Mishiro, Mishiro upset the form book by beating Ito via a Majority Points Decision 96 - 94, 96 - 94 and 95 - 95 in what was apparently a close, competitive tactical battle throughout, which the journalist reporting thought that Ito had Won, but nevertheless... 🤔🥊👊👍

Wasn't an upset to me 😉 This guy picked Mishiro, and it was no robbery. It was a close fight

Saying all this though, I bet you altered your pick last minute though, cos I reckon a man with your knowledge of Boxing would have presumed Ito as pick by Decision in the lead up to the Event starting??? 🤔🥊👊👍

No, I actually fancied Mishiro to win all along. I had watched Ito when he faced Jamel Herring and Christopher Diaz on ESPN over the past couple of years and wasn't overly impressed with him.  Also I seen the weigh in pictures yesterday and Ito looked pretty bad, very drawn in and Mishiro looked relatively healthy and stronger.  Of course I love backing an underdog too!! Especially a Champion underdog!!

I was up at 5am watching the whole card, fell asleep during the middle fights but woke up again in time for the main event. It was a good close fight, could've went either way
