Chudinov vs. Sadiq
Umar Sadiq, TKO, R4
Upset Alert!!!!! Umars gonna need the KO coz he 100% isn't getting the decision in Russia!!!! I really think he can do it, Chudinov is very hittable, plods forward, throws nothing tricky. He has a great engine and a good chin. But Sadiq is younger, stronger, taller, faster, he's gonna get the KO! I hope!!!!!

Kharitonov vs. Williams
Danny Williams, TKO, R1
So Kharitonov is making his boxing debut??? I don't really have high hopes for any MMA guys turning to boxing, unless your Clay Collard!!!! Especially 40 year old MMA guys who've been KO'D multiple times!!! Danny Williams, man beat Tyson! British Champion, fought for the World title,,,,,,,, in the early 2000's! Danny shouldn't even be boxing, he is not allowed to in the UK, board won't license him. So he is touring Russia, Poland and other Eastern European locations getting fights against local prospects. Thing is he still has enough in the tank on any given night to give a young punk a whoopin!!! Beat a 20-0 guy not too long ago. Yeah, so obviously this is set up for Kharitonov to get the KO, but I really want to take Ole Danny boy to pull it out the bag and make it a great night for the 2 Brits over in Russia

Top Man Mikey, thanks for posting access to the event... As a Brit, it would be fantastic if Umar Sadiq, the prospect and upcoming British Super Middleweight Title Contender that he his, could go over to Russia on just two weeks official notice and produce a massive upset and a really big Win for himself... Personally, I think he can pull it off, even though Fedor Chudinov is a dangerous Super Middleweight if you fight his fight and stand and trade with him, as he has solid skills, good technique, never stops pressing and working throughout the fight, although he his quite one paced and he throws solid punches that if they land flush can do some damage... However, if Umar Sadiq is able to fight a strong, well paced Boxing fight, as it is scheduled for 12 Rounds, utilising his Jab, or even Double Jab to offset Chudinov's movement, throwing combinations as and when necessary, but getting in and out until towards the end of the fight when Chudinov's power usually diminishes and Sadiq can look to plant his feet a little more and throw heavier shots, (due to the pressure he applies throughout the fight), I really think Sadiq has the ability to surprisingly pull off a late Stoppage (Rounds 10 - 12), or pull off an amazing points Win... This is sweet science time, hit and Not get hit too much... In Russia the judges will definitely look to favour their Home Fighter, especially in a close affair, because that is just what happens!! Here's hoping for the best performance of Umar Sadiq's career and #thenewWBAGoldSuperMiddleweightChampion.... πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ€”πŸ₯ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ‘

No worries mate.
Did you hear that the 2 main fights are broadcast onB BT Sport BoxNation, starting at 9.15pm our time.
Maybe it's just Sadiq vs Chudinov, but I think they'll probably show Danny Williams vs Kharitinov.?

I'm really routing for Umar too, I listened to his interview with IFL the other day and he had me convinced he's going to win!
Then 10 minutes before the event started common sense kicked in and I realised that Umar is not a Knockout puncher and he's never getting a decision in Mother Russia!!! So I backed out!!Really hope he does it tho!

Well that was a slow one sided beating that Sergey Kalchugin applied to the head of Bogdan Grevtsov aka the Human Punchbag πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š... The Straight 1 - 2 combination down the pipe, along with the overhand Right, come Right Hook slowly broke the big fella Grevtsov down after 6 minutes and Round 2 of the contest and Kalchugin looked decent with modest Heavyweight power, so he will probably get a step up fight in the not too distant future... Maybe a fighter like Australian, Lucas Browne would be a good test of Kalchugin's credentials... He set the finish up very well and landed a solid show stopper to close the show, but Grevtsov really does need to apply Rule No. 1 to his Boxing skillset, especially when competing has an out of shape Heavyweight against the Monster's in Boxing... Rule No. 1 - Defend yourself at all times... πŸ€”πŸ₯ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ‘

Hi Mikey, yeah I noticed earlier today it had a last minute broadcast deal done with Boxnation to show the Chudinov Vs Sadiq Main Event contest... Boxnation is in absolute turmoil at the moment....I cancelled my subscription in February /March this year, even though here in the UK it is only Β£12.00 per Month which is reasonable I guess for the content you get... However, even before the global pandemic took hold of the World at the end of March, Boxnation were hardly showing any live fights and you can find the majority of the repeated events / contests on YouTube for Free, so... Hopefully, Boxnation can be restructured in the very near future by the new owners... It is a great platform for both fighters and especially Umar Sadiq, who on his day looks like he can be a Contender to be on this evening and given that this is a surprise opportunity, if Sadiq stays focused, I do think he his capable of pulling off a major surprise upset... But he can't allow for it to be close, he Must Box his way to a clear Boxing victory and it will be difficult because Chudinov is decent, had beaten decent challengers in the past and still has something left... I also think of Chudinov as a Human Terminator, as he never stops believing in himself and pressing forward, so Sadiq would be wise to target the body and at least mix up his punches to slow down the flat feet of the Russian and definitely Not allow for Chudinov to hit him too hard and too often... πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯Š

I get Box Nation as part of my BT Sport package.

I thought it just came as part of BT Sport nowadays???

I'm pretty sure the Sadiq fight is to be broadcast on the same YouTube channel as this undercard is onto, so you should still be able to watch.
At least that's what Sadiq said in his interview, that it would be shown on YouTube, there's a link in the description of his IFLTV interview. I'm not sure if the Box Nation broadcast will affect that tho??? Surely not?

That last fight between the inexperienced Vladimir Ivanov, who was just having his 3rd Professional Boxing bout against well over 300lbs of girth, man mountain Tornike the Georgian Destroyer went exactly how I thought it would... Tornike would press the action in the 1st Round, trying to cause panic and alarm to Ivanov until the 3 minutes were over and to be fair when he swings his haymakers, you don't want to be there!! That is a lot of force behind that swinging punch... However, Ivanov did what he needed to do, applying some sweet science and combining that with some nice heavy combinations and looked to get stronger as the Georgian Destroyer got weaker Round by Round... Even though I thought Ivanov would pick up a decision victory, I wish he had started to let his punches go a little more from Round 5, as I think he had the power and punching ability to get the Stoppage against a Boxer at that stage who was very tired and looking for the finish line... When Ivanov tagged Tornike hard against the Ropes in Rounds 5 and 6, I was wondering whether it would be time to shout... TIMBER... If Tornike had have been dropped, I wonder how long it would take him to get up and how many people would be needed to lift him if necessary... 340lbs...Still competing though, so fair play and he went the distance πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ€”πŸ€ͺπŸ₯ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ‘

Also Danny Williams, full respect to you for your efforts to still continue and perform professionally in the Ring... I am aware that you do it for your family and your daughter's education... You have always been a decent Heavyweight and made Britain proud on many occasion in the past... At 47, Not sure what you have left, but I wish you well in your contest this evening and I hope you prove me wrong and don't get stopped in your bout with the former MMA Fighter, who has decided to turn to Professional Boxing at the age of 40...πŸ₯ŠπŸ₯ŠπŸ€”πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘
