I remember Collier as a middleweight and then a light heavyweight, then I did not see him for a year or two. When he came back from hiatus he looked like trash in his loss to Aspinall. I am curious about what happened to him. He is a former RFA middleweight champion and won a performance of the night bonus for a spinning back kick finish over Alberto Uda. His most notable win is over Marcel Fortuna, otherwise any person with at least some hardcore MMA name value has beaten him. His losses prior to Aspinall at heavyweight are Kelvin Tiller, Vitor Miranda, Dongi Yang, and Devin Clark. I think he will lose to Villante because Villante can be a better fit at heavyweight if he can stay around 235 LBS his cardio will be better and he will be able to show more. He was able to drop Maurice Green before gassing out and being subbed. I think Collier needs to go back to 205. If Collier loses this fight, I think he will be cut from the roster because he will be 3-5 in the UFC. Thoughts?

@vertisol it would be a pretty safe bet to say jake will loose by tko to villante and be cut from the UFC soon. I dont know what happened with the weight gain but he looked just terrible and i wouldn't pick him to win against almost anyone on the roster.

^ This. I was ready to pick against Villante without even looking at who it was until I saw it was Collier. Not sure whose **** Gian is sucking to keep getting these fights, but this is the worst layup yet, so he must be good at it.

@Duck he's pretty ******' bad man. Hard to say who is worse but at least Villante hasn't lost to absolute scrubs.

Hermansson vs. Vettori
Jack Hermansson, DEC
Vettori only has two finishes in UFC; Roberson, who doesn't grapple well, and...whoever that other guy is...both by submission. I don't see him submitting Joker, or getting a TKO. That leaves decision, which seems unlikely.
St. Preux vs. Hill
Ovince St. Preux, SUB, R3
Hill looked great against Abreu. I almost picked him, but...OSP took shots from Rothwelll without too much difficulty. OSP will do a lot of nothing, and then win by Von Preux as soon as Hill gets tired.
Santos vs. De La Rosa
Montana De La Rosa, DEC
I don't so much think MDLR is the better fighter, so as the bigger fighter who has faced better competition. I don't think Santos' edge in skill--probably everywhere--will be enough to offset that.
Dolidze vs. Allan
John Allan, TKO, R2
I think we have a live dog here...twice as many fights, five years younger. Dolidze looked decent--not great--against Ibragimov, who generally gives the impression of someone impersonating a trained martial artist...
Villante vs. Collier
Gian Villante, TKO, R1
Battle of the Mr. Pototo-head bodies. Gotta go with Villante; there was a time when he was decent; the same can't be said of Collier...
Jackson vs. Topuria
Damon Jackson
If Topuria wins this, I probably won't bet against him until he fights a top dog...
