Santos vs De La Rosa
Montana De La Rosa, DEC

Crazy what one fight can do. People were all over fading her against Meatball Molly and now she is a 2 to 1 favorite? Her striking is mainly her legs/knees in which she uses that long frame, but her hands she doesnt throw that much. When she does get taken down, she sits there with no urgency to get back up. You are giving me De La Rosa at + money, I am going to take it. Better competition, similar body frame, improved striking, and good takedowns. Laying 2 to 1 on Santos seems crazy to me in WMMA.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 8 Winners, 0 Perfect, 315 Points   |   Tied for 889th

Hermansson vs. Vettori
Jack Hermansson, SUB, R2
Anyone picking this fight with confidence is either a total moron or an actual savant. This is one of those fights that could end in any fashion, any round.

St. Preux vs. Hill
Ovince St. Preux, SUB, R2
I think this is a little too much of a step up for Hill, but he has been gradually improving from each fight to the next and could really show up. Add in that Hill is 3-0 vs southpaws, and OSP is 1-2. I can see why the picks are split so evenly

Santos vs. De La Rosa
Taila Santos, DEC
my only comment on this fight is ugh

Dolidze vs. Allan
Roman Dolidze, TKO, R1
2020 is not the year to pick against Georgian fighters

Evloev vs. Landwehr
Movsar Evloev, DEC
Evloev is one of the most technically sound, high fight IQ fighters in the whole UFC. These odds are garbage though, it's still a fight

Villante vs. Collier
Jake Collier, TKO, R1
If you thought Mazany vs Ostovich was gonna be bad, get ready for possibly the worst UFC fight of the entire year. This doesn't belong on a Smellator undercard, let alone in this prime spot here. Throw two lazy, fat ass middleweights into the ring and let them sweat it out I guess

Wiman vs. Leavitt
Jordan Leavitt, SUB, R1
Wiman is far beyond his prime and should have retired after losing to bob ross. The only thing is he's never been subbed and that's how Leavitt generally wins

Flick vs. Durden
Jimmy Flick, SUB, R3
Flick is the exact type of fighter I never feel comfortable picking against. Constant scrambles, unflagging cardio, unbreakable will. He's like a lighter John Salter who looks for subs a little more often

Jackson vs. Topuria
Ilia Topuria, DEC
I expect a decision but wouldn't be shocked to see a sub out of nowhere, these guys are nuts.

Benítez vs. Jaynes
Gabriel Benítez, DEC
Benitez is more active, has a reach advantage and better boxing. I expect him to pick Jaynes apart

Smolka vs. Quiñonez
Louis Smolka, DEC
If I could bet on it, I'd bet Smolka doesn't make it to this fight due to weight cutting issues or some other ********. If the fight actually happens, he's better everywhere.

Hermanson vs Vettori

Is anyone else surprised that Jack Hermanson is the underdog at +140? That is a crazy odd.

Don't get me wrong, I like Marvin Vettori he's a good fighter but Hermanson is really good and has the best chance of beating Adesanya because of his grappling.

The fights that I've written predictions about? 100%. Overall? 6/20 or something close to it.

Unless I have a shocker I basically beat you every card. My accuracy is considerably better than yours even though you cherry pick ******** cards to inflate your stats. You can't even crack  60% cherry picking. That's not sad in itself. But it is sad that you care about it enough to be bothered to do it. On top of that, you're probably the most boring, twee, unfunny poster on the site. You are like a Dr Pepper commercial. And I, and nobody else, care what you think about anything at all.

I'll say it again, people: You can hit 68% just by picking the favorites every week.

@Fish,
Did you see Vettori vs Akmedov or vs Carlos Junior?

Hermanson can go down if you have power like Cannonier or Santos but Vettori have none of this.
I do think Hermanson can outpoint Vettori on the feat or submit him on the ground.

Predictions: 7 of 8 Winners, 1 Perfect, 430 Points   |   Tied for 87th

Taila Santos   vs.   Montana De La Rosa
Santos, KO/TKO R2.

De La Rosa sucks, basically. She's good enough to sub cans if she gets an ideal position, but her boxing and boxing defense is atrocious which is why she's going to get the ten shades of **** punched out of her here. Santos is a big puncher with lots of forward pressure. Similar to Araujo (who did punch ten shades of **** out of Montana) but not as good--but good enough to win here barring a hail Mary from Montana. If santos can beat Molly she can beat De la rosa.

Jimmy Flick   vs.   Cody Durden
Sub, R3.

A very difficult fight to predict, and one that has as much potential to be singularly ******* awful as it does spectacular. Redneck Khabib looked good on the contender series but he was fighting a guy with the TDD and grappling chops of an al dente spaghetti man with muscular dystrophy and Durden isn't that guy. This will be a tougher test for Flick who didn't beat Gutierrez while Durden did. Flick is more likely of a dec win, Durden is more likely of a finish win. I suppose I'll take Durden. Mostly because flick looks like he was born to his sister and baptized in a bathtub of moonshine somewhere in backwoods Georgia. Coin-toss fight.

Damon Jackson   vs.   Ilia Topuria
Topuria, KO/TKO R2.

Jackson is going to get ****** up here in all likelihood. He's a competent striker but he's lacks power, is porous, and he isn't going to do well against a guy like Topuria who is also a decent striker, has far better power, and a very solid sub game. Topuria is a legit prospect. Jackson looks like a middle-aged divorcee whose diet consists of crab cakes and dry ramen noodles whose training regime is just a consequence of his career, which is peddling an ice-cream cart. Sub or KO equally as likely for Topuria.

@Fishbait
Wow... didn't think you would respond that way... Not !!  Hahaha !! You got some funny quips sometimes but for the most part ... what free said about you is correct.  **Go read previous Fight Card Discussion if anyone interested**

As far as my picks go... I have picked the favorites over the last 3 - 5 cards and they turned out giving me Red Xs.  When I come on here, I dont really care so I usually pick the favorites. If I am serious I rewatch their fights and do very well.  I have beaten several challengers.

Fish's predictions are very bad - when the fight happens he posts how the card is terrible and the fighter can not fight. But he wouldn't dare jump in the octagon himself.

What do I win if I get 100% Perfection on a card  ?  Do I get a cookie ? LOL  I don't care either way if a fighter loses or wins because I am not the one fighting.  But you take it personally for some reason... do you hate life Fishrat ?
Do you need a hug ?

@Duck I'll come to the Goldy and give you a wedgie in front of your GF you little ****!

Edit: I still think you're ******** for picking Vettori, but I also think my statement of Jack having virtually no chance is also ******** the more I think about it.
