Happy for Moreno, he really desrves this, and should make this fight fun and competitive for at least one or two rounds, but Figueiredo looks unbeatable thus far...

I can't trust Ferguson after the Gaethje fight. He's still tough as hell and should be competitive here, but I think he clearly lost a step recently. Little bit slower, less aggressive, I don't know. Is it physically or mentally, who knows, but Charles Oliveira looks better every time he fights, both standing and of course on the ground. I think it will be fun and violent, but I have do Bronx winning this one.

Lets be honest. Nobody knows how this fight is going to go. Who's gonna win and how? It could quite literally be anything with these two. Tune in and find out, if you wanna put a bet because you like one of these two then go ahead. I see no value here other than inside the distance depending on what that line drops at.

Already broke this down more or less. Moicano should be the favorite but the risk is if his chin is on the way out.

My god. Go watch the Ribas fight. Okay, now that you're back did you see how unspectacular Dern's MMA jiu jitsu is? 0-6 takedowns and Ribas engaged her on the ground with literal impunity and progressively beat Dern into the ground. Now I know Tap and Dana all love Ribas for reasons I won't go into. But Virna is a better fighter than Ribas on the ground despite not being better in her striking. Her striking is very volume orientated and she throws almost no power shots with her hands despite having good strong kicks. I think she clean sweeps Dern for a decision dominating top position and distance striking. She's at +140 right now, if I can get +150 I'll take a shot, otherwise I'll live bet this fight after the first.
Torres vs. Hill II

I think there is value here. I put a small bet on Angela Hill at -110 she's weirdly on an upswing in here career and I think she's gonna be salty after getting robbed in her last fight. Tecia has dropped her last four fights against good strikers (arguably better than Hill) because despite good movement and energy she's just a small girl for the weight class with Cejudo arms. Tecia also has horrible takedowns, and a hilarious 13% accomplishment rate. Back when Hill was 2-0 that was how she won the fight by securing two takedowns (of 12 lol) to win two rounds. I think Hill has vastly improved on her takedown defense and manages to keep the Tecia on the outside for enough of the rounds to win a UD. In her first five fights Hill had almost a 0% td defence rate, she's since buffed that up to 77% even with her losses. Hill has significantly better Strikes landed per minute, striking accuracy, and striking defense. Dunno why the line is as close as it is but I put more money on Hill than I probably should bet on WMMA lol.
Quarantillo vs. Tucker
Billy Quarantillo, SUB, R1
Gavin Tucker has two sole paths to victory and they are very contrary to eachother. He can either lay and pray on Billy Q or he can engage in Billy Q's brawling style and count on his power (which he definitely has). My money is that he tries to lay and pray. Tucker has good wrestling, but not great MMA wrestling. He can certainly secure takedowns against Quarantillo but I doubt his ability to keep him there. Tucker has not the best TD rate (44%) and Billy Q has average TDdefense rate as well (66%). Billy Q can throw up subs and scramble really well even if his style does leave his hips open quite a bit. Against the heavier hitters at 145 I might fade Billy Q because he's a stand and bang type of fighter at moments, I mean he has amazing SigStrikes per minute (7+) and Striking Accuracy (73%) but his striking defense is hilarious (~42%). I mean he has more than double the volume and accuracy on the feet than Tucker, but that's more of a clash of styles. Gavin throws a lot less but also gets hit a lot less. Long story short, I favor Billy Q to win a decision by forcing the action and outlasting Tucker, OR by subbing Tucker off a bad takedown. Billy Q is at +110 right now and I took a shot on that.
Swanson vs. Pineda
Cub Swanson, DEC
Come on now oddsmakers. Beating Herbert Burns should not make Pineda the favorite over Cub. Cub has never been KO'd and has a diverse skillset. Whereas Pineda has had his clock cleaned, been subbed, and lost decisions. I get he looked good against mini Burns, but trust me that's not hard. Go watch Minner vs Burns like I said in my breakdown for when Pineda fought Burns. Burns was getting his absolute ass handed to him until he locked up a panic sub while Minner was being reckless in pursuit of the finish. I know everyone thinks Cub is susceptible to being subbed, and I guess that is the easiest way to beat him. But he's only subbed if he's SIGNIFICANTLY outworked (a'la Frankie Edgar) or with a spectacular BJJ phenom (Gracie, Moicano, Ortega). Pineda does have the BJJ to sub Swanson, but he does not have the wrestling to get Cub there like Edgar and Moicano did and Cub has shown that he has grown to be smart enough to avoid those positions. I bet 3.3 units on Cub to profit 4 because I think the only way Pineda dominates here is if he's still on the sauce and USADA is doing mail in samples still.
