Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 395 Points   |   Tied for 2490th

Hall vs. Silva
Anderson Silva, DEC
Hall is a fighter that always plays down to his competition, and I can't see him becoming a volume monster or bucking that trend knowing Anderson is walking away no matter what. Anderson's still elite defensively, given his 1.89 strikes absorbed per minute still despite being 1-6 since 2013. Hall is his easiest opponent in that span, think Silva cashes an undeserved decision and walks out on top.

Mitchell vs. Fili
Bryce Mitchell, SUB, R1
Not seeing many expecting Mitchell to get an early tap. Fili's last six opponents are all strikers, so probably hasn't felt the weight of a truly great grappler in a long time. Welcome to the title contenders realm, Thug Nasty.

Holland vs. Ontiveros
Kevin Holland, SUB, R3
Holland plays with his food a lot, so no telling how long this fight goes. Good on Ontiveros for stepping in, but KH is too much in this short a spot. My guess--Holland finally displays that black belt after a KD. Wants to make a well-rounded statement in an all-risk, no reward fight after losing Muradov.

Hardy vs. Greene
Maurice Greene, DEC
Certainly think Greene can finish this fight if it ever enters a grappling/clinch exchange. Hardy's level of competition is pretty embarrassing now with De Castro falling off the face of the Earth. If Hardy doesn't knock him out on football-related violence, Greene is a better overall MMA package.

Green vs. Moisés
Bobby Green, DEC
Bobby never has the killer instinct to finish these fights, but should use his great grappling defense to avoid a Moises trap in this one. Green on the feet should piece him up and coast to an easy decision.

Hernandez vs. Gruetzemacher
Alexander Hernandez, SUB, R1
Hernandez is yet to grab a UFC submission despite working well off the mat. May finally snag one against Gruetzmacher...this matchmaking is weird. Hernandez is fringe ranked, Gritz wasn't even good when he was here 2 years ago?

Yanez vs. Rodriguez
Adrian Yanez, TKO, R1
Aaron Phillips, Victor Rodriguez...whatever. This is a Yanez showcase. Could be the next Chito Vera in that he is a great striker and finisher, so the UFC has him beat up cans for a while. Yanez...quick.

Strickland vs. Marshman
Sean Strickland, TKO, R2
Welcome back Sean! When Tarzan left, he was a totally different level fighter than Marshman. Should have the edge in every facet (striking, wrestling, grappling) unless his accident totally ended things. Marshman is like his Welsh buddy Phillips...a lot of heart and power; much less skill.

Witt vs. Williams
Cole Williams, TKO, R1
What a gross fight. Jason Witt is a can that leaves himself open, where as I think Williams at least has some durability aspects. Witt's article with the UFC saying how he "made it" coming off an embarrassing KO...not the right mentality. I'll at least take the can trying to get better.

Jacoby vs. Ledet
Dustin Jacoby, TKO, R3
Ledet is durable and his strength of schedule has been really tough, but he just doesn't mount enough offense at light heavyweight. He had cardio and speed advantages at heavyweight, but just looks plodding at this class. Jacoby hits harder than Camur, so he could finish, but Ledet needs to move back up before he's cut.

Johns vs. Natividad
Kevin Natividad, DEC
Johns is well-trained, but doesn't have that killer instinct. He should have destroyed Mario Bautista. You see it with a ton of prospects that have all the tools, but never put it together. Almost like a bantamweight version of Tyron Woodley already. Natividad should be bigger and more aggressive, which may even put Johns out again. Shame his mentality doesn't match his toolkit.

I am just not that excited for 46 year old, badass in his prime, Silva.

Wretched New Predictions

Predictions: 10 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 550 Points   |   Tied for 1284th

Holland vs. Ontiveros
I am with Kevin Holland at -680. He has a cybernetic crotch-hold and a bodacious lumberjack sweep and also a faux clawhold. Holland will likely unseat the counteragent. Oss!

Yanez vs. Rodriguez
I embrace Adrian Yanez at -450. He has a xerophthalmic approach. Yanez isn't about to nuzzle the dark horse.

Strickland vs. Marshman
I predict Sean Strickland at -370. He has a zippy armbar and a fancy overhand. Strickland can ravage the canvas.

Hernandez vs. Gruetzemacher
I prefer Alexander Hernandez at -420. He has a xerophthalmic fight IQ. Hernandez shall hamper the counteragent.

Witt vs. Williams
I want Jason Witt at -150. He has a woebegone mounted elbow drop. Witt shall quash the bandit.

Green vs. Moisés
I love Bobby Green at -315. He has a maniacal piledriver and a venomous level change. Green isn't about to escape the natural order.

Johns vs. Natividad
I favor Miles Johns at -160. He has a kempt tai otoshi. Johns should rattle the unthinkable.

Mitchell vs. Fili
I can't get enough of Bryce Mitchell at -140. He has an exhaustive ground and pound. Mitchell will excite the cycle.

Jacoby vs. Ledet
I am enamored with Dustin Jacoby at -370. He has an exotic kimura and an eccentric heart stomp and also a fabulous attitude. Jacoby will likely quiet the Octagon. I know it!

Hardy vs. Greene
I can't get enough of Greg Hardy at -340. He has a jaunty armpit slam. Hardy ought to penetrate the rival. Easy!

Hall vs. Silva
I favor Uriah Hall at -235. He has a sassy mountain bomb. Hall will kiss the cake.

Why you Moron shouldn’t be disrespecting the Goat

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 1432nd

I’m surprise so many people don’t actually watch the fight and only care about the result, even tho Anderson only won twice since the world was about to end, non of his fight he ever look bad maybe beside the Cannoner fight where his leg break, he look good against comier, Adesanya, Brunson and Bisping all of witch would Ko Hall early. Hall suck ass as a fighter and he was 2 minute away from losing a 30-27 unimous decsion to Bevon tucking Lewis. Anderson could be 100 and still kick Bevon Lewis ass. Hall ain’t knocking Anderson out either unless he’s leg break, Anderson has one of the best chins of all time,he fought some of the best knockout artest of all time, but still Weidman is the only one to ko him and it was because Silva was in a bad posution to get punch. Silva is the GOAT for a reason, Maynard and Shelby are setting up an happy ending  for Anderson carror
