Now that was an impressive forearm choke finish from Alexander Romanov... De Lima had decent strikes in his arsenal, but he couldn't deal with the pressure and grappling ability that Romanov implored on him to get the victory... I was well impressed with Romanov 🤔🥊👊👍

I'm a Romanov skeptic too. Despite how cool that choke was. He started losing the standup exchanges pretty badly there. It'll get lost in the story of this fight, but that's waiting for him if he faces a real striker.

That choke actually works really well against high level people. It's the same as the funkotine that Jordan Griffin lands occasionally. It's designed to trip up people who are trying to do the "proper" exit techniques. In DeLimas case turning into the person on top. Romanovs sub game is A1. His striking game Z-
