I saw the suggestion that Weidman should face #7 MW Derrick Brunson. I like that fight. What do you guys think?

Rockhold think he can do it too...
https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2020/08/luke-rockhold-former-ufc-champion-not-retiring-2020-return-mma

I think Rockhold should stay at 205. He looked bad againts Romero and Bisping. Weidman was winning againts Romero before the knee and goes to war when facing Souza.

To me rockhold have better chance to beat Cirkunov or Rua then any top 15 MW

Brunson is the match if you believe Weidman could make another run. I prefer see him fight Shahbazyan or vettori

You know I'd love to know their "actual weights" you know walk around weight.
Bisping claimed he often weighed as much as 215 before cutting, he was not a big guy.
Both Weidman and Rockhold are bigger more muscled dudes, clearly that will not help against punches.
But dehydrating and other weight loss methods do hinder performance in various ways.
Main problem is neither can take big shots, work on defense or retire division isn't that important.
Yet another time where the 190-195 class would be perfect, neither has a real path to a belt.

@josh I'd also love to know the real weights and I'd love to see an end to weight cutting cheaters by having fighters weighed the day of fights.

Also and more importantly congrats on your fancy new blue belt.
