so shevchenko gets a guppy feed this time. how did maia even get this fight? her two most recent losses are to the last two victims of shevchenko. i know mma math isnt supposed to work but you cant ignore it here. the only question is will shev go for the finish or play it safe like she did against carmouch?

DO NOT TAKE ANY OF MY PREDICTIONS OF FIGHTS INTO CONSIDERATION IF YOU'RE BETTING. I AM NOT HERE TO SWAY YOU AWAY FROM YOUR PICKS BUT MERELY SHARE MY THOUGHTS OF THESE FIGHTS. DO YOUR OWN THING. I AM NOT AS GOOD AS OTHER MEMBERS OF THIS SITE SO WITH THAT SAID FADE ME AND BOL TO YOU!

Figueiredo vs. Perez

Alex Perez, TKO, R4
#ANDNEW Don't bring that MMA math bowlsheeet here. Yes AP lost to Benitez. Yes figgy killed Benitez twice if there wasn't a ref to save him. Disclaimer peep the username. In all seriousness though everything does point to Figgy to win. I'm taking a stab here on AP. Hear me out ...He's been durable lately against competition who don't carry the power of the champ. But if he can just survive 2 full rounds and is still level headed he could possibly pose problems the longer the fight goes. I think he can produce volume later on in the fight to take over. He'll be too sweaty to get locked up in a sub.If his gas tank holds up...no cuts or heavy damage to make him a deer in headlights momentum could go in his favor. The champ doesn't have any finishes beyond the first two rounds in the ufc. Again this is just a real long shot. The champ could make me look like a dumbass w my prediction and just end in early in the first though.

Shevchenko vs. Maia
Valentina Shevchenko, TKO, R2
The most well rounded fighter in every aspect of her division is not losing anytime soon unless they set up a trilogy with Amanda @ 135.

Rua vs. Craig II
Paul Craig, DEC
I'm leaning towards the bearjew. Get pieced up early by shogun. Shogun slows down. Craig picks it up and gets him to the ground and slows him down even more to get a lame split decision.

Chookagian vs. Calvillo
Cynthia Calvillo, SUB, R2
This is actually quite interesting. I would've possibly leaned differently if Chook's ribs weren't being tenderized by Andrade + thoughts of retiring to start a family. No shame or anything wrong with that. But when we're talking about fighters and their mental state heading into a fight, that's not something you like to hear.. Quick turn around for Chook as well. I'll be looking for Calvillo to mix it up very well with her hands pitty pattering up top then ripping her body. Causing her to shell up and possibly turtle up on the ground where she grabs a submission win. It'll have to be very quick because the fight will favor Chook longer it stays on the feet. She can jus run away and outpoint her. I wasn't all too impressed with Calvillo vs Eye but all the momentum going in with a possible title shot on the way. I'll go with Calvillo.

Perry vs. Means
Mike Perry, TKO, R1
Mike Perry is going to give the bird to the dirty bird after KO'ing him. Perry is an unstable madman who loves inflicting damage to his opponents. The dude is tough as ****. Fought Luque with one of the most grotesque broken noses I've witnessed in a fight. Means chin has been giving out on him. Perry can hit hard and put his lights out..

Shevchenko vs. Lipski
Ariane Lipski, SUB, R2
You're only on this card because the good Shevchenko is headlining it. I'll be looking forward to this fight between these two baddies though. Gimme the queen of violence.

Jouban vs. Gooden
Alan Jouban, DEC
I'm more confident in Jouban grabbing a decision. So i'll side with him. Look for him to get back into the swing of things and go on a decent run. His competition he's faced is much better compared to Gooden.

Daukaus vs. Stoltzfus
Kyle Daukaus, TKO, R2
The name Daukaus has been strong this year. Both of them are killin it.

Moreno vs. Royval
Brandon Royval, TKO, R1
Royval may put him to sleep early in a firefight. i wouldn't mind seeing a slick sub from him though.

Buckley vs. Wright
Jordan Wright, SUB, R2
Wright RNC. Before the KO of all time in the UFC, Buckley has been a strong finisher. Dude throws with every intention to catch a fatality. I just will side with the much bigger opponent riding a undefeated record. Get choked out and go fight Krause.

Dalby vs. Rodriguez
Daniel Rodriguez, TKO, R2
Poor Dalby. Against Orion Cosce he had a decent chance, but Rodriguez is a monster, and with a 3-0 reccord in the UFC thus far, he is looking like a future top 10 talent. Dalby can fight for sure, and maybe he will make this fight competitive, but this is a tough replacement...

Deus da Guerra is a beast.
So explosive striking, so good grapiling, so good bjj.
I really sad that Cody fizzled out from this fight.
Now fight with Perez gonna be easier for Figu.
I dont think that Perez can wrestle Figu or kill him in stand up war. Figu is to big for his potential opponents in this weight.
I predict murder in 1/2rd for Deus da Guerra :)

You think Perez is gonna beat figgy just like everyone thought costa was gonna beat Izzy? Or Gaethje was gonna knock out Khabib?

Get a clue kid Perez has beat Mark de la rosa Jordan Espinosa and a washed up bum knees sub or bust jussier formiga. He aint beating Figgy....These guys are champs for a reason give them some respect and stop picking every scrub that comes up for a shot to beat them.

Get a clue.
