This is just cruel to do to Cody. How on earth did the matchmakers, cody's manager, and/or cody's coaches not stop him at some point and say, "Hey bro, isn't 29 a little young to die? You have so much to live for." And why is the UFC killing a high earner? Do they think Figueredo can absorb that star power? This whole match up confuses me.

Kinda disagree because even tho im one of the 12 fan of flyweight, Cody is a big name and figurido is gonna sleep him in one and take the name with it. It make the fight with Perrez or Moreno in a few month bigger. Only Argument is that I hate when they do 2 stupid title shot in one division in a row and benevendez getting a rematch after that beating was stupid

I know my opinion aint worth a **** and all but I think if anyone should be the replacement it should be Perez, Moreno and Askarov should rematch that Draw they had. Perez coming off a finish of Formiga who no one but Joe B has finished in the last 7 years. Moreno was in LFA a year ago and Askar is 2-0-1 in the UFC. I dont understand why people are calling for those 2 and not Perez.

But i'm also a fan of making all Draws immediate rematches. Someone won, but the three ******s cage side couldn't pick who. Rematch is the only real option IMO. I know the Media doesnt matter but come on. Did anyone in here see this as a DRAW?

I think Moreno beat Askarov by a fair margin putting him on a 4 fight win streak better than Perez's Windstream, but I can definitely see the argument for Alex over Brandon

Yea i guess its the Askarov one that annoys me more than Moreno. 2-0-1 doesnt get you a title shot. Maybe in womens featherweight, but not in any male weight class with more than 6 fighters lol. I have nothing against him but how does 2 decision wins and a Draw get you a title shot?

Now to completely ruin my point Moreno will probably finish Perez
