@6pminhell the incubation period for Covid is thought to be up to 2 weeks. That means 2 weeks ago a fighter could get exposed to the virus, but not have it fully grow and move through their system yet. They take a test 12 days ago and test negative. They take a flight to Vegas and test negative. A couple days later they test negative again. And then finally on fight day the virus has multiplied in their system enough that they are contagious and they test positive.
This is why when Joe Rogan says on his podcast "why are we all wearing masks in the arena, we've all tested negative?" ... it's kind of a naive thing to say. Someone might only have become contagious in the past few hours. If I were in there I'd certainly keep my f*cking mask on my face!
