Cerrone vs. Price
Niko Price, TKO, R1
Cerrone is fighting at all time low levels....slow and doesnt fire.....Price got the pop in his strikes.....Cowboy down for the count

Chimaev vs. Meerschaert
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R2
Khamzat probably smesh, grind, ride, and slip in the choke after GM3 is pummeled

Holland vs. Stewart
Kevin Holland, DEC
Holland a stud....would love to see him pick it up and get more serious at the PI....Darren's only shot is to clip Holland

Bueno Silva vs. Borella
Mayra Bueno Silva, DEC
Who gives a single ****? Cancel WMMA

Espinosa vs. Dvořák
David Dvořák, SUB, R2
I like Dvorak's last performance.

Ewell vs. Rivera
Irwin Rivera, TKO, R1
The experts are saying Ewell but my gut is going with stumpy Rivera to clip Ewell

Minner vs. Laramie
T.J. Laramie, SUB, R3
Don't know either of them. I heard some experts pick Laramie, and I made this pick before I got any tips

Nam vs. Rivera
Jerome Rivera, DEC
Maybe newcomer Rivera gets the DEC

Baeza vs. Wells
Miguel Baeza, TKO, R1
Baeza super 170 stud....going to the top....gets the newcomer Wells the **** outta there

Picks subject to change (anything can happen, let's just hope the card stays together, some very exciting match ups and I expect some violent finishes for the prelims.

I'm thinking Dern could lose a decision but you never know with Markos, and I'm not confident in Walker but I think he's due for a win here.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 680 Points   |   Tied for 967th

Covington vs. Woodley
Colby Covington, DEC
Colby Covington Is master of cage grapling and Woodly is falling in and out of love with the cage as he always has he back on the cage,Think Covington wants it more and has output to win, Think Woodly is live for the Ko tho at about +275 he is pretty live because Colby has the same stricking style as Joanna Jedrezchick so I wouldn't be suprise if Mike Brown coachs him, Ton of output but wouldn't hurt an atom women, Think Woodly could maybe catch him because he ain't afraid of the power, But Colby is a good style for him

Cerrone vs. Price
Donald Cerrone, SUB, R2
******* hell I hope Sean Shelby and Mick Maynard see something we all don't see and Cowboy is gonna win. Niko Price could be a bad match up for Cerrone because he has power to sleep anyone and Cowboy a bit frail but if Price fight like a mad man and not smart agression i can see him lossing I.e Perry and Hernandez. Price weakness is fight who hit hard like Luque, Neal and Abdul and Cowboy is more of a techtesion than a power guy, Picking Cowboy because he one of my favoutite and his fight and when he doesn't get stach in one round, I alway go crazy and screaming And it be hard for me to see him go on a 5 fight lossing streak tied for longest with BJ right

Chimaev vs. Meerschaert
Gerald Meerschaert, TKO, R1
Think Khamzet will beat Meerchart up because Meerchart like to **** around on bottom but I think it should be +200 and not +400 or 500 as Meerchart should be piss off that they double book him and making him look like a scub, Chimaev fought a brawler with no takedown defence and a lightweight, Now he fight number 22 middleweight in the world who a grappler so he can maybe stop the takedown , And this is why Im picking Merchart because The duck has a mix of retartadtion and crazy

Walker vs. Spann
Johnny Walker, TKO, R1
Johnny Walker loss to Anderson kinda ruin him for me to be honiest, If Anderson hump his legs for 15 minute I wouldn't be off his train but getting stach in a few minute by a guy who hit like a ***** and can't knock out anyone ruin him for me, Then getting Wresle**** by Krylov ain't a good look either, Also Hate that he not train at King MMA or Henry Hooft Because Tristar and SBG are not good camps for him, I need to reseach what Spann chin at because I saw him almost get kod by the bum Alvey and that why im picking Walker

Dern vs. Markos
Randa Markos, DEC
Both Girls got they're ass beat by my furture Wife Amanda Ribas, I just want to mention that because I love Ribas , Let get to the Pick, I pick Ribas to beat Dern for the reason that Dern Takedown are horrible and Ribas and Markos are good enogh Wresler to stop the horrible takedown and outstrick her, Even in her last fight I don't think she got a takedown but something weird happen to get the takedown, I think she has only one takedown in her debut agest Spider Monkey and has about 5% takedown accrucy, Dern was getting her asskick by Ciffer untill Cifer bad fight IQ and Honesly i was more disampont with Cifer that I was with impress with Dern but that 1/2 of WMMA,Also Hate Dern work etthic. Also I got +400 for Markos by Decsion and that genurous because she just lost to Ribas and you crazy and a little stupid if you think Markos would go on anytype of streak

to be fair Gerald is slightly above a can if that. Who's he beating in the last 5 years that impressed anyone. Winn's fat ass? Giles in the fight where they landed a COMBINED 14 significant strikes in over 11 mins? Oskar Piechota who's also a can? Spicely lol god I hope not.   IDK man anytime Gerald fights anyone top 10 material he gets beat. I don't see why Khamzat can't run through him just as easy, which is probably what the UFC was thinking making this and then also talking about his next fight. Now Maia on the other hand I think has much more of a shot. I've also been watching Khamzat since Brave 20 waiting for him to make his way here and do exactly this so who knows im probably a little biased.

I'm generally making fun of hype trian and getting money betting againts them (Northcutt, Van zant, Omalley) but Chimaev seems real. He dont get fans with instagram, he get fans by dominating competition (and by dominating I mean completely...) maybe just like Gregor Gillespi he will fad when the level goes up but I don't think its happenig againt Meerschaert even if he is the 1st "UFC calliber" fighter that Chimaev will face.

Covington vs. Woodley
Colby Covington, DEC
i hope tyron wins but i just watched this man lose 10 rounds in a row and now he has to fight colby covington. i have minimal confidence in him winning this

Cerrone vs. Price
Donald Cerrone, TKO, R2
awesome matchmaking on this fight tbh. i like cowboy way more when he's not being fed to top 5 lightweights

Chimaev vs. Meerschaert
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R1
hope Gerald wins / he has more of a chance than people are giving him. that being said i still think khabib wins this

cerrone has some points in his favor going into this fight.
1) he is by far the better fighter everywhere. more technical in the striking, better grappling and submissions.
2) low pressure fight, not main event, no crowd, laid back.
but hes getting old, his chin is a little bit suspect and you always have to wonder where his mind is at. during the 3 fight win streak he had against perry, iaquinta and hernandez he looked as good as ever. moved up to elite fighters tony, justin and conor and folded. i thought he won the pettis fight so i'll leave that one out. this fight is taylor made for cowboy if his head is right and he shows up to fight. i'm taking cerrone by decision or maybe late stoppage.

Colby Covington   vs.   Tyron Woodley
Woodley, KO/TKO R2.

Guess I'm all by my lonseome on the short white bus this week. Covington can definitely wrestle**** a UD here, but what does this fight look like assuming he can't? Woodley is ******** but he hits like a truck. I think he turns up here and lets his hands go. Colby gets something broken. Hoping to be wrong.

Johnny Walker   vs.   Ryan Spann
Spann, KO/TKO R1.

I like walker but he's a glass cannon. and he's definitely not great at Boxing reads. Spann has a nasty right hand straight, times it well. I think he gets it done early here. Second dog pick of the card.

Khamzat Chimaev   vs.   Gerald Meerschaert
Chimaev, KO/TKO R2.

Out of the frying pan and into the fire for Gerald. Chimaev is a monstrous talent who will be fighting for the belt sooner rather than later. Meerschaert is ****** here.

Sarah Alpar   vs.   Jessica-Rose Clark
Rose Calrk, dec.

Alpar is a pile of ****. It's really that simple.

Mackenzie Dern   vs.   Randa Markos
Dern, Sub R1.

Markos is good against fighters with no ground game, but Dern, hog-faced piebeast that she is, is not one of those. Randa isn't hurting her on the feet and if it goes to the ground she's getting subbed. Only path to victory is a decision. Can't bet on her to get it.

Randy Costa   vs.   Journey Newson
Costa, KO/TKO R1-2.

GREAT fight. Basically impossible this is anything less than a barnburner. Either guy could take this, it's a fifty fifty. I'm taking Zohan. I think he's got the better chin and more rounded game. Newsome has power, but he gets kicked in the head a lot, and I think that's how Zohan sets up the KO with the hands here.
