Question for my fellow tapoloigist, I want to know what fight got u into MMA , The first one i watch was Ronda vs Holm but the one that got me hook was the first Conor Mcgregor vs Nate Diaz fight

Wasn't the first MMA fight I saw, pretty sure that was Goodridge vs someone on VHS in the 90's. Didn't really get in to MMA until PRIDE. Silva vs Jackson 1, Fedor etc got the fire lit for me personally.

Silva vs Griffin, I think BJ beat up Kenny Florian that night too. Also remember The WEC and TUF 10 heavyweights getting me hooked.

First event I ordered was ufc 3 because I kept seeing promos for it

I was a big wrestling fan back in the day, as well bloodsport was my favourite movie

I wasn’t sure if it was something that was real or not

Boy was I surprised and delighted seeing all the different fighters and styles

Especially considering the first fight on the card was hackney vs yarborough

I was like “holy ****, *** did I just see!!!!”

I was immediately hooked from there.

I started watching WEC re-runs on TV back in probably 2008-2009 when I started high school. First live event was Edgar vs Maynard 3. Watched about 95% of the cards since!

Same with me started with 100, then I went to college and stopped watching but I’d catch highlights, ended up watching Mighty Mouse and cejudo 1 in a bar with some buddies who are also in to MMA now we watch every fight

Seedy video store vhs late 90s UFC 1 the old ones were not super impressive but had to start some where.
Forrest VS Bonner was what got me back interested in MMA.
Wow great memories coming back I was the first guy to rent Faculty on dvd in FBX had to watch at my buddies place didnt have a dvd player.

My dad was a wrestler who started watching during the tuf boom, I was pretty young so I dont have a clear memory but I def watched early tuf. Wasn't a hard-core fan until I went to the Ngannou vs JDS event

I watched WWE growing up and wanted to see Brock fight. Then I saw Brock beat Heath Herring at 87 and decided to start wrestling the next couple weeks after. Best thing that ever happened to me.
