Fighter IQ is very low in this fight

I think Chimp has better fight IQ than this fight... Maximov could have finished this fight in first round.

I will give both of them contracts for 3 fights... Remember CM Punk had a contract. bAsed on that ...
Other UFC fighters that have potential need cannon fodder to build their brand.

It also makes it very EASY to make bets against them. A good parlay LOL !!!

Personally, for what it is worth, I think Nick Maximov would be a great addition to the UFC Roster... He took down, out grappled continuously and Ground and Pound a guy who weighed 54Lbs more than him and he never stopped trying to work and get the finish... Is Oscar Cota a World Class Heavyweight... No... Will he ever get a UFC Contract... Probably Not... But he was massive compared to Maximov and Nick did a number on him to be fair... Great performance 🤔🥊👏👊👍

@HYRM - its okay they all get contracts. Remember - CM Punk !!

every time someone gets a contract that you think they should not fight in the UFC.... just remember CM Punk.
CM Punk was one of the most hyped and weakest fighters in mma. But he got paid millions because of a gimmick and the promo machine got behind him to look like a World BEater.

I think Silva might shock a few people with his striking capabilities and KO Power in the Main Event... I understand why JP Buys is the favourite, but I expect this to be a closer fight than the Bookies are thinking... 🤔🥊👊👍

Still impressive considering the huge weight disadvantage. I love Maximov but I really wouldn't mind if he picked up a few more wins in another organization the dude is 22 and still has a lot of room for improvements.

C'MON JP! ONS VIR JOU BRU, ONS VIR ZUID AFRIKA!!!! I've watched JP since his ammy days back home in SA and he has come so far, possibly the best wresting talent SA MMA has to offer at the moment. Big heart, doesn't leave it to the judges and his improvements between fights have been insane to witness.

I saw his wife combing his hair back... I laughed. she is just making him feel good before he brings in the bacon. She wants to make sure he feels wonderful --- I think you should feel awful before stepping into the ring. Makes you more sharp
