Predictions: 4 of 5 Winners, 1 Perfect, 225 Points   |   Tied for 57th

Maximov vs. Cota
Nick Maximov, DEC
Maximov's last fight was about 2 months ago while Costa hasn't fought for over a year. I think cage rust will get the better of Costa here.

Buys vs. Silva
JP Buys, DEC
I think this will be a closer than a lot of people think but Buys should bag himself another win here.

Macias vs. de Paula
Pauline Macias, SUB, R3
A lot of fights at 115lbs tend to go the distance but I think this one might be different.

Blackledge vs. Lutz
Tucker Lutz, TKO, R2
Despite the height and reach difference, I think Lutz has too much power for Blackledge to handle.

Hackett vs. Leonardo
Victoria Leonardo, DEC
I think Leonardo will use her experience to her advantage.

Predictions: 3 of 5 Winners, 1 Perfect, 190 Points   |   Tied for 165th

Maximov vs. Cota
Nick Maximov, SUB, R1
We're so gangster and so tough that we're gonna coach someone and feed him 5 fights in a row against people who have a combined record of 2-14. Hurrrr. **** of Diaz brothers. He'll win this tho because Oscar doesn't have TD defense good enough to stop Nick and he can't pull the trigger to put him out before he gets inside. Stupid matchup.

Buys vs. Silva
Jacob Silva, TKO, R3
JP Buys will probably make his way around to the UFC, but I don't think it will be for about another year.

Macias vs. de Paula
Gloria de Paula, DEC
I'll trust De Paula to be able to keep Macias off of her. Macias struggled to take down a natural atomweight so I'm not high on her even if she does have good BJJ>

Blackledge vs. Lutz
Sherrard Blackledge, TKO, R3
Sherrard should have gotten the contract in my opinion. It wasn't his fault that Church was tougher than a leather boot. I'd pick Church to beat Lutz and ergo I'll pick Blackledge to win here. He'll fight safe in the first round and then get motivated to hunt for the finish in the second or third.

Hackett vs. Leonardo
Victoria Leonardo, SUB, R2
Experience means so much. People just don't realize that sometimes, I get wanting to jump at the chance, but just build yourself up a bit more. Even if it's like what the Diaz brothers did for Nick and just feed him cans. Getting adjusted to the environment really matters. Even if I rated Hackett I'd still pick Leonardo for that fact.

Upon seeing the odds I’ll take Leonardo and Silva for 1U a piece as dogs. And then Blackledge for 3U. I’ll pass on Maximov at -400 and taking a shot on de Paula was tempting but I didn’t expect her to be a favorite.

Maximov vs. Cota
Oscar Cota, TKO, R3
209lbs vs 263.5lbs. Your TD doesnt have to be too great when you've got 50 pounds over your opponent plus I think Cotas experience will help him here. I think Maximov gasses and gets sloppily finished in round 3.

Josh Parisian had a 50lb advantage and demolished his opponent, it’ll be hard to overcome a 54lb advantage. Neither have fought super stellar competition, but Maximov’s opponents have a total of 2-14. I’m not sure who to pick.

I kind of **** on Maximov (deservedly so) but he's probably going to win this fight unless there is a KO in the early seconds of each round. Allow me to justify. His 5-0 pro record is just hilarious, there are amateurs who have faced better competition than he has in his pro fights. However, he's not really 5-0, he's got a good ammy career against better competition than he's fought as a pro. I think his pro fights have been more of an excuse to get him some cage time. The second big point of justification is that those 50+ pounds won't matter unless Cota gets on top, whether by sprawling or getting his own takedown. Maximov doesn't shoot straight doubles, he cuts angles like a real wrestler does. Meaning he touches the hips and then pivots out to the side making the sprawl useless without an underhook. My guess is he gets on top and subs Cota in the first round, but if you bet on him at -400 (now -500 lol) you're probably also dumb.

Must be a first!

Predictions: 0 of 0 Winners, 0 Perfect, 0 Points   |   Tied for 815th

A Heavyweight fight with over a 50 pound difference between fighters. Maximo (who was supposed to fight at Light Heavyweight) opponent pulls out and the ONLY short notice replacement they could find was a Heavyweight. Maximo who now doesn't have to cut weight to make 205, goes to the scale and weighs in at 209 now has to fight an opponent who weighs in at 263. I gotta see this. You would have to think the bigger man wins. I don't no or have heard anything about either fighter. So if the big man wins he thinks he deserves a contract for beating the little man but if the little man wins he gets a contract for being the Giant Slayer. This fight should be in the WWE or what ever that ******** wrestling is called in the USA.

Blackledge vs. Lutz
Sherrard Blackledge, DEC
This was a tough one for me on paper i liked Lutz better but after rewatching his contender match he leaves his chin open way to much, I feel like Blackledge is the safer way to go, He looked better in his contender fight and has the height and reach advantage. Maybe Blackledge catches Lutz for a ko but most likely just a decision.

Hackett vs. Leonardo
Victoria Leonardo, DEC
I at first was gonna go with Leonardo here, I've won money on her last fight vs Liz Tracy, Honestly i felt like Tracy won it but i wasn't mad because i won money haha but after watching the highlights on Hackett's fight vs Rhiannon Thompson. I thought she handled herself okay with controlling the hands on the ground even though she gave up her back pretty easily but stand up striking was excellent but being a Muay Thai champion will do that i'm sure!
