Something kind of interesting, Akhmedov has not finished a fight by strikes or submission since 2013. This is probably Chris' best chance at getting a W. And he better wrestle, the way he fought Jacare was incredibly stupid.

Holland vs. Buckley
Joaquin Buckley, TKO, R2
Let me say that I’m not picking Buckley to win this fight. I always put my picks to represent the better value for betting IMO. And I can say that if you bet Holland at these odds, or even parlay him, prior to seeing the weigh ins on Friday you are doing yourself a disservice. Both of these fighters is coming off of a recent bout, and both will have a recent weight cut as a byproduct. One thing for people who haven’t had a lot of experience weight cutting: a shorter stockier (musclebound) individual will always have the easier cut than a longer individual who has more mass in bone, skin, fat, etc. because your muscle sheds water easy as f*ck. And Holland doesn’t have an easy cut to 185 at all, I’m surprised neither of these fighters agreed to a catch weight... but if this fight is indeed at 185 then I would put value on Buckley to land a KO at 5:1 odds. He’s a southpaw with good landing combos, and while I give Holland the striking and ground advantage, he gets hit pretty hard in most of his fights. He just has the wherewithal and chin to eat those shots without any issue so far. I’ll switch my pick 100% if I see him looking anything better than death come Friday. Just my opinion.

Submission rd 1 he gonna get Lewis down fast and submit him sorry

Weidman vs. Akhmedov
Chris Weidman
tko this is wrestling match up I feel akhmedov is just going to to be trying to wrestle and Chris will catch him he's been knocked out before don't think omari has good chance of knocking out Weizmann or out wrestling him keeping him down

@tioken   we talking about the same Kevin Holland? the one who just weighed in for his last fight at 182.5 ?  I have to believe if it was as much of a struggle for him as you think he wouldn't have lost the extra 3.5 lbs before weigh in. He was scheduled to fight at 170 2 weeks later before the shoulder injury. I don't think 185 is a struggle for him at all IMO. I do think 170 would be a struggle though

@deff, @tioken is talking out of his ass here. Holland has at least 7 fights at 170, he barely cuts to make 185

possibly the one ranked middleweight who isn't highly likely to knock the chris out. i still think omari wins though. hope weidman wins but i'm not expecting it

I’ve done a pound and a half before during weight cut on accident because I get to weight in the sauna and I’m significantly smaller than Holland. I’ve been high on Holland for a while, I watched him miss and struggle at 170 five years ago for several fights on the regional circuit. And he’s a lot bigger now. If anything, coming in at 183.5 makes me feel like he’s not very comfortable with the cut. Those are mistakes you make your first 5 or so cuts.
Edit: I started writing here so people could give me ****. Nobody only has good ideas, and I think you might be right. I just think it’s prudent to wait for the weigh ins.

Lol, talking out my ass. Maybe, idk I’m just going off of what I’ve see from Holland in the past. Like I said, if he looks good on the scale at all it will make me 100% confident in him.

I second @Deff but I never cut weight in high school, I played soccer & baseball and would work out with the wrestling team in the winter to stay in shape
