The third could have been 10-8 so I won't complain too much about the decision. However, there is no universe where the third isn't 10-8. I mean, Bonnar beat Kingsbury 30-25 for laying in side control and attempting (but never coming remotely close) subs? But Shogun is on top for 4 minutes 58 seconds, gets mount 20 times and lands brutal gnp throughout.

I KNOW the reason they didn't score that round 10-8 is because they had there scores tallied up, and were afraid of giving a main event draw. Who cares what round you get a 10-8, if you dominate that much, you deserve a 10-8.

FIRST PLACE

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 600 Points   |   Tied for 89th   |   View

These two killed it and tied for first.  Had there been a tie-breaker, spicD would have won due to the perfect in the main event.

@mino Shogun didn't land any brutal gnp in the 5th round he has way to gassed and even though Shogun was ontop the whole round Hendo was more active.

@minotauro I don't know if there was any conscious decision like that from any of the judges... that's kind of a conspiracy theory.

Here's what would be good info if someone can track down:   Did the same judge who gave Bonnar a 10-8 round also work the main event?  It might not have been the case.

@justyn what do you mean Hendo was more active? You think Hendo won the 5th or something?

No not at all Hendo very clearly lost the fifth round. I just feel that Hendo did more from the bottom then Shogun did from top, Hendo was always moving around and trying to get out of mount and did many times.

Shogun won that round but i don't think it should of been 10-8 because Hendo was very active from bottom.

One thing is clear: there is no agreed upon definition of what is a 10-8 round ... and it's something that needs to be fixed.

Faber just asked Dana if he and Cruz could coach TUF, Dana smirked.

I would love to see that.
