Eyes do not lie, Israel looks different than before. movements, expressions, eyes. Costa seems more assured of victory.

i reallt dont understand the ppl that say its cowardly to back in a fight. its a style that counter punsh and locking for misstakes in the opponents guard. mostly used by the smaller more technical figher against the bigger brute. whats really cowardly is to cut so ******* much weight just to get fights against smaller guys/girls. #stopextremeweightcuts
i mean, you can see ppl almost taking themselfs out in the process and some have even died. just to fight smaller opponents. imbecills gonna be like "stop backing ******* coward" while they rooting for a fighter that has cut half his usual weight just to get in there. xD  smh.

@Wolfar

The UFC has catered to casual fans that only want blood, guts, and knockouts for so long now that fans boo when there is a technical stand up fight, or when the fight hits the ground.

What time frame or amount of years do you think this will happen? Going to ESPN and becoming mainstream kinda seems like they're going in the opposite direction of what you're saying. UFC has undoubtedly gained mainstream popularity over the last 5 years.

I also agree with you on weight cutting, that's just one of the many reasons why I prefer ONE Championship over the UFC.

@HiDefff

The worst thing that ever happened to the UFC was mainstream acceptance, because it gave them permission to push no-talent hacks like Conor McGregor and Colby Covington.

lol im not a fan of either but to say they have no talent is just unrealistic and disrespectful to guys like Aldo RDA and Lawler by acting like they got beat by some talent less bum. I understand not liking their act or whatever but you still have to be realistic.

I think Conor, Colby and all other fighter that are ****s, are usually underrated from the hardcore base of the fan base, Conor for example is probley top 30 of all time, and Colby is 2nd best fighter at welterweight at the moment.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 455 Points   |   Tied for 1400th

Sanchez vs. Matthews
Jake Matthews, TKO, R1
Diego is washed up, Matthew is too big and can finish him with a body shot or something. I'm worried he's timid to stop a legend like Diego though and just holds him down or strikes with him on his way to a boring decision.

Young vs. Klein
Shane Young, TKO, R2
I'm going with the kiwi on this one.

Knight vs. Camur
William Knight, TKO, R1
Camur is extremely unimpressive to me and I think Knight will bring that dog fight that gets Camur caught.

Hughes vs. Espino
Juan Espino, SUB, R1
Espino is in great shape and looks ready to rock. Hughes hasn't really fought anyone with the wrestling ability of Espino and I think he subs him late in the first round.

Ibragimov vs. Marques
Danilo Marques, DEC
Marques by split decision.. he's bigger, has takedown and grappling abilities, Ibragimov has subs on his record but at heart is just a brawler. This has FOTN potential tbh

Kara-France vs. Royval
Kai Kara-France, DEC
You can blink a bunch of times in this one.

Vieira vs. Eubanks
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Sarj gets dominated for 3 rounds.

Dawodu vs. Tukhugov
Hakeem Dawodu, DEC
5lbs over but couldnt tell at the faceoff.

Riddell vs. da Silva
Brad Riddell, DEC
Quaker oats gets a boreing decision.

So much could go wrong on this card but I think it should hold and will deliver as usual.

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 6 Perfect, 625 Points   |   Tied for 119th

Israel Adesanya vs. Paula Costa
Adesanya, DEC
Two guys who hate each other and are getting locked into a cage. What could go wrong? Dana is ranting on about Fight of the Year but I don't see it. I see Izzy mounting his bike and riding around the octagon, tagging Costa to edge him a DEC win.

Dominick Reyes vs. Jan Błachowicz
Jan Blachowicz, TKO, R2
Reyes is the favorite, especially after that performance against Jon Jones, but I think Jan is gonna expose Dominick and Jones by getting a TKO, courtesy of legendary polish power.

Kai Kara-France vs. Brandon Royval
Kara-France, DEC
Brandon is super good but I think Kai will be super pumped coming into this one, especially because his with 3-4 other team mates who are fighting as well. Will be a close one, as always with Kai.

Ketlen Vieira vs. Sijara Eubanks
Ketlen Vieira, DEC
Viera's ground game is really good. This is her edge against a tough Eubanks in a close fight.

Hakeem Dawodu vs. Zubaira Tukhugov
Tukhugov, DEC
Both guys are top competition. Should be super close split DEC for Tukhugov who missed weight.

Brad Riddell vs. Alex da Silva
Brad Riddell, DEC
Riddel should beat up Silva on the feet and win, as long as he doesn't spend too much time on the mat.

Diego Sanchez vs. Jake Matthews
Matthews, DEC
Diego belongs in the Hall of Fame - I mean literally, at this point of his career. He doesn't need this punishment anymore. Hes super tough - legendary - so he should make it to a DEC.

Shane Young vs. Ludovit Klein
Klein, TKO, R1
Klein looks legit so I like him in his UFC debut, maybe catching Young with one of his best weapons -  his lethal head kick. He missed weight too by 4 pounds.

William Knight vs. Aleksa Camur
Knight, TKO, R1
On paper Camur is the better fighter but I just gotta a feeling Knight is super pumped after his last win and wants to continue with his destruction.

Jeff Hughes vs Juan Espino
Espino, SUB, R1
Juan has some decent grappling. Going against a Hughes whose not that impressive in my opinion.

Khadis Ibragimov vs. Danilo Marques
Ibragimov, DEC
Two cans fighting to start the ceremonies. Just pick one and don't look back.
