this match up is a tough one.
Calvin Kattar, a powerful slick boxer with the size and reach advantage.I would almost immediately choose him by TKO,I think he flusters out Dan with hard counters or combos and gets the finish in 3 or 4th. Kattar needs to seek out the kill rather than be patient, read and counter for a few rounds.
Dan Ige, a man who makes as few mistakes as possible and never backs down. I think this will be slightly easier than his matchup with Barboza which I do believe Ige edged out the win. It's hard believing he can't pull off the upset. He relies on his hard precise shots to control the ring and momentum effectively, something hard to do against a light footed boxer like Kattar. he has previous experience of being and training in abu dhabi / russia with none other than Khabib, Zubaira, and Muslim. As much as everyone can claim Barboza beat Ige, Stephens softened up kattar and broke his nose and that fight was a little over a month ago.
Ige coming in leaner and a little more swoll might be the only thing he needed, and he did just that.
Mike perry's nose + 4 months of healing + Neal = rd 1 finish
Kattar's nose + 1 month of healing + Ige = Ige decision

Lerone Murphy, DEC
I thought Lerone looked stellar against Tukhugov, and arguably should have won that fight. Ricardo is a very skilled grappler, but hasn't decided to use it all that much in his UFC career. That being said, I think Lerone is well versed enough in the grappling department to fend off any attempts Ricardo will throw out to get this thing to the ground. On the feet, I believe it's very much in Lerone's hands. I see him eeking out a very competitive 29-28 well-rounded MMA contest.

Calvin Kattar, TKO, R4
underrated fight here, feel bad that someone has to lose. expecting kattar to lead the dance and turn up the heat each round.
Elliott vs. Benoit
Tim Elliott, DEC
not sure how benoit is gonna deal with the grappling pressure. also don't think he ko's tim.
Rivera vs. Stamann
Cody Stamann, DEC
definitely like stamann as an underdog for this card. he keeps surprising people with his striking and i honestly feel like rivera's ranking is inflated.
McCann vs. Santos
Molly McCann, DEC
santos' record is a little more padded and i think they're knowingly using that to grow hype around mccann. it'll work for now.
Razak Alhassan vs. Lazzez
Abdul Razak Alhassan, TKO, R1
if razak looks himself then he should handle lazzez, but if all the turbulence has gotten to him (or a bad weight cut) then he could get upset by another proven finisher.
Phillips vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R1
feels ridiculous betting on this sorta experience gap. i just don't think john phillips is really all that good so i'm willing to say that an aggressive newcomer is more than capable of using him as fodder.
Ramos vs. Murphy
Ricardo Ramos, DEC
mismatch on paper, but i guess a draw with tukhugov is reasonably impressive so i shouldn't take murphy lightly. i think ramos can still control the action and perhaps finish if he gets top position.
Bukauskas vs. Michailidis
Modestas Bukauskas, TKO, R1
andreas really doesn't seem like an awful signing to be honest, but i still think he's gonna get ko'd by what seems to be another decent signing.
Gordon vs. Fishgold
Chris Fishgold, TKO, R2
i'm gonna take fisgold even with the weight miss, i just don't trust gordon to hold up the whole time.
Jojua vs. Belbiţă
Diana Belbiţă, DEC
jojua isn't subbing anyone with a positive record so i don't like her chances to catch belbita. definitely possible that belbita finishes it at some point, but i tend to lean towards decisions for most wmma fights.
Phillips vs. Shore
Jack Shore, SUB, R2
agree with the consensus. still not sure phillips is ufc material so shore should be all over him.
