Yan vs Aldo “awful refereeing”

Predictions: 5 of 7 Winners, 2 Perfect, 340 Points   |   Tied for 1838th

I’ve seen people saying that the referee was awful in the yan vs aldo fight because of the stoppage.
I do see where people are coming from and I also think the fight should have been stopped a bit earlier, however I don’t think it is right to say he is a bad and incompetent referee, I mean this is a damn title fight! So many implications! In title fights there should be given more opportunities for fighters to continue fighting than in a non title fight. That’s my opinion.

The Cejudo vs Cruz is a perfect example of what I’m trying to say. The ref should’ve let the fight play out a little more, Cruz could’ve still lost but we will never know if he would’ve gotten back up and won the title. It was such a big fight for Cruz and the ref didn’t even give him an opportunity to fight back.

"The fight game is life!"

MMA fans are soft as hell now. stoppage was fine, Aldo was trying to defend - ref gave him the chance and it become clear he could not advance so ref called it. Excellent stoppage, Dana just loves hating on officials.

Elliott vs. Benoit
Ryan Benoit, TKO, R3
People still have faith in Timmy????

Rivera vs. Stamann
Jimmie Rivera, DEC
Rivera basically beat Petr Yan for 13 minutes of a 15 minute fight, crazy! He has better striking than Stamman and because he's so short he can stuff takedowns, I think he keeps this on the feet and outlands Stamman for a decision win.

Razak Alhassan vs. Lazzez
Mounir Lazzez, DEC
Does Razak have more than 2minutes of cardio??? I feel Lazzez just has to avoid a fire fight, like Price and Homasi foolishly engaged in, and he is the better, more technical striker with better cardio. He should be able to win a decision, also Razak been out for a while with, ahem. issues, so how's he going to look. I know the sensible thing to do is Razak by 1st round murder but I have to pick underdogs. You know, I may be wrong most of the time, but when I'm right I get to gloat about how I called it and you're all dumb for not seeing the obvious!!

Phillips vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, TKO, R2
Chimaev is a guy I have had pegged as a future champion for a while now. So you know, he's gonna get viciously KO'D by the White Mike Tyson!!!!

Ramos vs. Murphy
Lerone Murphy, TKO, R2
Disrespectful towards Lerone. Guys a dark horse in the division. Got some hands on him, nephew of 1 of England's best boxing coaches (RIP Oliver Harrison). IMO, he deserved the win over Tukhogov, who is a top20 145er, he had him in BIG TROUBLE, clinging on for a draw. Oh yeah, he was also shot in the FACE!!!!

Bukauskas vs. Michailidis
Andreas Michailidis, TKO, R2
I do not know what to think about Bukauskas. I've watched his last 3 fights in Cage Warriors and he was losing every 1 of those fights pretty convincingly. Pushed against the fence, taken down and controlled. But, on the other hand he ended up winning them all by stoppage!!!! So I am both impressed and not impressed at the same time. Basically he out lasted his opponents. So he has a good gas tank, something I rate highly in a fighter. I have seen Michalidis 1x, in Titan he melted former UFC Heavyweight in a round! I don't know, Michalidis has better wins and Bukauskas loses his fights until his opponents crumble. I'm gonna take Bukauskas but not confident at ALL.NO, **** it Michalidis will KO him

Jojua vs. Belbiţă
Liana Jojua, SUB, R2
What Tapologys resident Women's MMA expert said. Something about Fish wives!

Gonzalez vs. Bergh
Jorge Gonzalez, TKO, R1
Ehhh???? 80%! This reminds me of that fight a few weeks ago, the guy with a salty record Aguilera vs undefeated Ivy, remember? I think 95% picked Ivy even though he'd never fought anyone even near the level of Aguilera, and he hadn't fought no one great!!! Anyway, Bergh is trash!!! He's subbed a heap of 0-0 guys in Scandinavia. Gonzalez has been fighting in ACB, not winning all the time but that's what happens when you fight people with a pulse!!! Viva Mexico!!!!

Another NMF contestant

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 97th

Lazzez is Max Holoway, Stephen Thompson, and Dustin Poirier levels of cool in the first few interviews I've seen of him. He is incredibly genial and so marketable. He could really put a spotlight onto the middle eastern promotions he was competing in. It sucks that his first fight is such a mismatch in terms of experience. Picked him and rooting for him still even though it's mostly a heart pick.

Can't Pick Lazzez, he gets hit way too much especially in R1. Slow starter who gets tagged while he's getting his opponent measured.

Still, I hope he beats the ******.

Don't know if he is or isn't a ****** but is simalar to Greg Hardy that they both were proven Inocent, A part of me belive him and fell bad for him because in a interview he said he was sucidal and u shouldn't belive all women. I hope Abdul doesn't get **** on like Hardy also because he does alot to be like but is **** on for what could be or could not be true and no one knows

Hardy wasn't acquitted. He was found guilty and sentenced, then he appealed, and after the fact got off on appeal because Holder didn't challenge because she'd had enough of the court process and stopped cooperating with the prosecution.

She was actually witnessed running the streets with the **** beaten out of her by a cop after fleeing the house.

He did that ****. Definitely.

Went and read the case files for his umm, incident. It seems like he really didn’t actually R any of them. But he definitely let a minor into the bar he was bouncing at and knowingly fed her drinks all night. While being married with a kid at home, so probably not a stand up guy. But he’s no Greg Hardy.

Predictions: 5 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 355 Points   |   Tied for 1673rd

Kattar vs. Ige
Calvin Kattar, TKO, R4
Ige gonna run out of gas 100% he has a baaaaad baad cardio compare to Kattar. Probably gonna get on the chin 4th or 5th round.

Elliott vs. Benoit
Tim Elliott, DEC
Idk how this is a comain event...

Rivera vs. Stamann
Cody Stamann, DEC
No one cares about this fight lol. Probably gonna go to decision... everyones avoiding this fight.

McCann vs. Santos
Molly McCann, DEC
She's like a bull, I think she has improved a lot since her debut in UFC. I think its gonna go to decision. Maybe Santos takes 1 round.

Razak Alhassan vs. Lazzez
Abdul Razak Alhassan, TKO, R1
Easy pick.

Phillips vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R1
Dude is a beast but never seen him get punched hard. Lets hope his chin holds cuz Phillips is a sniper good decent strikes but Chimaev looks like one of a kind wit lots of energy and ways around other fighters.

Ramos vs. Murphy
Lerone Murphy, TKO, R2
Good takedown defense I think Murphy gonna be kicking a lot. Going for both leg and head, I've done my homework I think he's gonna take it to distance and I think he's gonna do it good. I say round 2 KO.

Bukauskas vs. Michailidis
Andreas Michailidis, SUB, R1
Yeah another guy wit bad cardio. Dude needs to finish in the first otherwise Bukauskas gonna fk him up. Much better striker wit good cardio.

Gordon vs. Fishgold
Chris Fishgold, SUB, R1
Fishgold taking my chances here, dude is gonna go for takedowns in the first round. Lets hope he doesnt run out of gas thats the only thing I am worried other than that hes gonna do some successful takedowns. Hammer time

Jojua vs. Belbiţă
Diana Belbiţă, DEC
Close fight if it goes to distance I think Belbita wins, decent strikes but bad takedown defense. More likely go to distance. Close one tho.

Phillips vs. Shore
Jack Shore, SUB, R2
I think Shore is gonna maul him for 2 rounds and finally submit him on 2 round.

Gonzalez vs. Bergh
Jorge Gonzalez, DEC
I dont think Bergh seen the 3rd round before, I don't think man has the gas tank for rounds. On the other hand I've watched Gonzalez surviving wrestlers and strikers for 3 rounds. Let's hope Gonzalez takes second n third and win by decision

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 4 Perfect, 440 Points   |   Tied for 812th

Kattar vs. Ige
Calvin Kattar, DEC
Ige huge underdog again. People underestimate him constantly. I Don't think he will win but I think it will be a lot closer than people think. I think he will get out-pointed in a decision. Kattar is a scary man but ige is tough as nails

Elliott vs. Benoit
Tim Elliott, DEC
Benoit has fought once in the last 3 years. Hard to read how he will do. Prime Benoit would win but who knows what shape he is in any more. Time for Elliot to shake off the 3 fight skid

Rivera vs. Stamann
Cody Stamann, DEC
Rivera's resume is ridiculous. Only lost to the very best. But damn he did not look good his last few fights. Hard to tell if he still has the heart or if hes grabbing a paycheck. Staman has the the strength of his lost brother on his side - he will fight to the death for his brother's honour.

McCann vs. Santos
Molly McCann, DEC
I like meatballs hehe

Razak Alhassan vs. Lazzez
Abdul Razak Alhassan, TKO, R1
tbh I havent seen Lazzez's film but based on his record he loves to get the knockout quick. Attempting to do that against Alhassan likely will end in sleep mode for Lazzez. Abdul is a beast!

Ramos vs. Murphy
Ricardo Ramos, DEC
Two underrated fighters! This will be a fun one

Bukauskas vs. Michailidis
Modestas Bukauskas, TKO, R1
Wow these guys both love to finish fights fast. Bukauskas has been fighting in better promotions and against better competition

Gordon vs. Fishgold
Jared Gordon, DEC
This one is a toss up. Gordon is such a good guy with a good story, you gotta cheer for him.

Jojua vs. Belbiţă
Diana Belbiţă, DEC
Funny that Jojua is ranked so much higher. Doubt she will win this

Phillips vs. Shore
Jack Shore, DEC
Might bet on Philips just because I don't think he should be such an underdog - it would be a big payout. Im sticking to Jack Shore here, but an upset wouldn't shock me.

Gonzalez vs. Bergh
Kenneth Bergh, SUB, R1
Sub or ground and pound... Hard to choose which

Kattar is typically a slow starter out of the gate and comes on about mid second round. Ige tends to gas late in the fight. If Ige cant get him out of there in the first then i look for Kattar to get the finish in the 4th or 5th
