Very happy to see they got Bukauskas and Shore re-booked. Both young fighters, developing in the sport. They need to get these fights in. I think Shore should take that fight handily, I'm not sure about Bukauskas yet, he has some potential but he worries me as well.

@Damien has to due with location. Brazil and Florida have been spreading at a fast rate. Florida opened up way to early and didn't really set any rules for how the pandemic should be approached. Jacare, Burns, and Munhoz all train in Florida.

HiDeff, is that right? Khamzat Chimaev is a Monster!!!!  I've had an eye him for a couple years now, since I seen him destroying some poor guy in Brave. He hit an uppercut from the depths of Hell early last year!!
I had heard he'd been signed up by Ali so I figured he'd be joining the UFC soon enough. Only 6 fights tho, I would've liked to see him gain a little more experience, get closer to 10 fights at least.  But, I guess, in this climate, regional fights just aren't happening and you don't turn down the UFC.  John Phillips is a tough bastard but he's not exactly highly skilled! So it's an OK debut.
I imagine people will jump on board once they see what Chimaev can do

@Mikey  I was on board when it was announced haha Phillips is tough and hits like a truck but if you can put him on his back he may as well be a flipped turtle. I agree completely, a little early but its the COVID era haha you can't turn anything down now.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 3 Perfect, 555 Points   |   Tied for 97th

Kattar vs. Ige
Dan Ige, SUB, R2
I don't want to say 50K is underrated, but he is definitely underestimated. I think he has convinced a lot of people that he is an exciting power puncher with his attitude and cage name. Regardless of whatever front he puts on, he is one of the most cerebral featherweights to strap on the 6oz gloves. I understand the caution people have after the Barboza fight. While I do think Ige displayed a great skillset despite 'losing' imo, that result will benefit him more than a clear victory would have. It will provide him with a lot of data for facing a striker like Kattar. IMO should be a pick 'em, maybe a slight lean to Kattar for the body of his resume.

Razak Alhassan vs. Lazzez
Mounir Lazzez, TKO, R3
Alhassan has freakish ungodly power. His every punch has 2016 T-wood spiritbomb power. But I give the edge to Lazzez in actual striking ability. If he comes prepared he will stick behind his long jab and teep Alhassan in the gut until he bleeds that ****** gas tank. Predicting a finish in the second or third.

Gordon vs. Fishgold
Chris Fishgold, TKO, R1
After all the excitement of 251 is over I will really delve into this fight and potentially reassess my pick. The few fights I watched makes me feel this fight is a pick 'em. I know Fishgold has really been grinding his Jiu Jitsu since that humiliating loss to bum Amirkhani, I just hope TD defence was a focus as well. Jared Gordon doesn't have great TD accuracy but if he can get one per round he does do a good job at punishing in the position against people who aren't active scramblers. I really do rate this a pick 'em, but I'll give it to Fishgold because Gordon's chin is suspect and Fishgold has some sauce on his punches.

Rivera vs. Stamann
Jimmie Rivera, DEC
**** me. I want Stamann to win, I think he has a good skillset that would breath some life into 135. Whereas Rivera is like the end crust of a loaf of bread. Stamann whooped Song (everyone knows it) he also has some 145 experience when he fought Kelleher. He's definitely an arguable winner. But I just think Rivera has the ability to take away Stamann's keystone skill: wrestling. Should be a fun fight.

McCann vs. Santos
Molly McCann, DEC
I'll work up the energy to watch tape on Taila after 251. I already know what McCann brings to the table and she's a UFC vet, I'll pick her for the moment. Oh, nevermind Taila lost to Mara Romero Borella, lmfao. Definitely picking McCann.

Jojua vs. Belbiţă
Liana Jojua, SUB, R2
Holy padded records. Liana has better wins against actually positive fighters. Couldn't care less.

Ramos vs. Murphy
Lerone Murphy, TKO, R2
Umm, is there something I'm not seeing? Like do people just go look at the odds and pick who is the favorite out the gate? I watched a good amount of tape and I understand Ramos has a decent body of work beating bantamweights and flyweights with padded records but Lerone Murphy is powerful for a real featherweight. Will rewatch tape because I feel like I must be missing something.

Elliott vs. Benoit
Tim Elliott, SUB, R1
Please never get cut from the UFC Tim Elliot. You're a national treasure.

Phillips vs. Shore
Jack Shore, TKO, R2
Get your parlay builder here folks. Here's a free lock parlay for plus $: Volkan/Jiri NTD + Jack Shore W

Bukauskas vs. Michailidis
Modestas Bukauskas, TKO, R1
Only one of these people actually beat people to deserves their shot in the UFC. He's younger, more talented, and more active.

Phillips vs. Chimaev
Khamzat Chimaev, DEC
Couldn't care less. John Phillips overextends and has no TD defense. Borz is also a 170er despite like one fight at 185. I expect a ****show.

Gonzalez vs. Bergh
Jorge Gonzalez, DEC
**** padded records. Will go watch some can crushing and reevaluate my decision after 251. But Gonzalez has a better body of work on tap.
