Whittaker vs. Till
Darren Till
Gut says Till, but that's strictly it. Very much a 50/50 fight otherwise. 5 rounds favours Whittaker

Rua vs. Nogueira III
Maurício Rua
Should be an easy one for Shogun. Minotouro is completely done.

Werdum vs. Gustafsson
Alexander Gustafsson, DEC
Should be an easy one for Gus. Moves too well laterally, and although Werdum definitely has the advantage on the ground, I think it will be hard for Werdum to land the takedown, especially with Gustafsson's ability to be extremely patient. Look for a fairly "boring" fight where Gus wins all 3 rounds.

Wood gets hit way too much to be a top 10 bantamweight imo. His offense is top notch though and he should be better than a short notice John Castaneda

......I do think it is a more competitive fight than what the odds say. I just think Nate has a gameplan to win both sub and dec. I'm going sub cus john has a limited ground-game. Usually when its limited, it's not very good.

looking forward to this card. Hoping Bobby Knuckles wasn't lying when he said he was burnt out even before the Adesanya fight and that all the retirement talk was part of it.

Predictions: 11 of 15 Winners, 4 Perfect, 665 Points   |   Tied for 1612th

Whittaker vs. Till
Robert Whittaker, TKO, R4
I think Till will pick Robert apart but I’m picking from me heart, Robert please knock this ****** clown out with a head kick please.

Rua vs. Nogueira III
Maurício Rua, TKO, R1
No God! No God please no! NOOO!!!!

Werdum vs. Gustafsson
Alexander Gustafsson, DEC
Werdum will get jabbed to death as he chases Alex. Alex may even get a takedown then get up seeing as he is a great wrestler. Bad matchup for Fabricio but if he’s able to get Alexander to the ground and keep him there he might snag a submission.

Esparza vs. Rodriguez
Carla Esparza, DEC
From this fight on are the bigger fights on the card. Taking Carla as the wrestler usually always is able to beat the striker.

Craig vs. Antigulov
Paul Craig, SUB, R3
I like Craig, fun personality and style. Aggressive striking and aggressive ground game. He pushes the pace and doesn’t stall and I appreciate that.

Chimaev vs. McKee
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R2
Khamzat impressed me tremendously in his last bout and he is a man on a mission. I predict a mauling.

Pessoa vs. Boser
Tanner Boser, DEC
Raphael looked good in his last fight. He showed sharp striking and dominated Jeff Hughes. I just think Tanner is the better striker. He throws nice combos and I think he will take this to a decision. Raphael may have fought after the Jeff fight sorry if I’m wrong.

Correia vs. Kianzad
Bethe Correia, DEC
I’m not impressed with either girl really. Pannie’s only win in the UFC is Jessica Rose Clark and she did look fine in that fight. Bethe comes forward and brawls but comes out patient yet sloppy. Bethe has more experience and even though I thought she lost her last fight, I’m taking her slightly.

Wood vs. Castañeda
Nathaniel Wood, SUB, R2
I think Wood grinds this dude out and gets a submission. No shame in losing to Dodson especially when you were doing well in that fight also. Great prospect and I think he rebounds here.

Werdum comes in fat

Gus comes in with no ground game and has retired like 6-7 times.

He has incredibly bad luck

Werdum by sub or I'll laugh so hard if Gus knocks him clean out

Gus has Very good TDD. I don't see Werdum's trips being a problem for him at all. If Gus don't get him outta there in the first then its for sure the second. I don't see this fight hitting the third round

He just seemed so lost on the ground, almost like he gave up against Jones and Smith. Then the constant retirements, where is his head gonna be at? I do agree he is a problem to take down but once he's there he's like a fish out of water now.

I don't think his head is in it anymore. Werdum did come in poor shape for his last fight, so that could be a factor too. I'd love to see my pick wrong and the Viking get a brutal first round KO. Maybe a head kick.

Werdum just announced this is his last fight in the UFC as well. Who knows if either one has their head in it but i cant argue the fact that once Gus is on the ground he looks lost.

Predictions: 11 of 15 Winners, 4 Perfect, 690 Points   |   Tied for 1368th

Whittaker vs. Till
Robert Whittaker, TKO, R3
This only Till's second bout in MW and I don't understand the hype behind him as if like he is really good at stand up that Whittaker has got no chance in a stand up with till. Whittaker by knockout.

Rua vs. Nogueira III
Maurício Rua, TKO, R1
Rua is Younger and seems to be on a roll even late at this stage of his career. Once he stuns Little Nog, I think he'll go for the kill since he wouldn't wanna take it to further rounds as he is old and cardio isn't on his side.

Werdum vs. Gustafsson
Alexander Gustafsson, TKO, R2
Basing on Werdum's last fight, it seems like his fighting days are over. Gus being much younger has an advantage and his stand up is way better than werdum. I don't think werdum will be able to wrestle and take down Gus. Gus by 2nd round TKO

Esparza vs. Rodriguez
Carla Esparza, DEC
Going with the fighter who has more experience in the UFC, who can grind out a decision win with her wrestling and grappling. Rodriguez's striking is great but I see Esparza being the shorter fighter having an upper hand on taking her down easily and controlling the fight on the ground.

Werdum look really good at weigh in so I think he be a lot better in this fight and people are way to confendent in a guy who just coming out of retirement and Werdum never thought about retirement. Gus last fight he look good was Glover because he the only finish of clean Jon Jones and made Lionheart look good. - 300 is a joke and not a funny one like half the thing people say on tapology

Esparza vs. Rodriguez
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
a good striker will tool carla on the feet. the question is really just if she can keep it there. calvillo and randa found success grappling, carla should have her chances too. i'll guess it

Craig vs. Antigulov
Gadzhimurad Antigulov, DEC
who knows here. paul craig plays far too risky of a game for me to pick him. antigulov has only seen scorecards once though so that concerns me because he could gas and get tapped. i'll gues not though.

Oliveira vs. Sobotta
Alex Oliveira, TKO, R2
hoping cowboy has his confidence back and he can get back to going wildman without fear of repercussions. sobotta hasn't really beaten anyone with staying power and ko'd by both mainstays, so i'll say cowboy gets a highlight reel type clip where he drops him standing and pounces on the finish.

Chimaev vs. McKee
Khamzat Chimaev, SUB, R2
mckee looks like a fun prospect, but short notice against a meat grinder like chimaev is a big ask.

Trinaldo vs. Herbert
Francisco Trinaldo, DEC
possible the missed weight affects trinaldo's gas tank, but i still feel like he's a bad matchup for a ko fighter like herbert. chin has always been good and his aggression is backed by his ground game.

Dalby vs. Ronson
Nicolas Dalby, TKO, R2
always felt like ronson got a really tough gauntlet in his ufc run, not sure it's gonna go well here either. can't tell where he wins this fight so i'll take dalby.

Collier vs. Aspinall
Jake Collier, DEC
collier might just be another can for aspinall to crush, but he could also outlast a guy who hasn't made it out of r2. screw it, i'll go with that. as weird as it sounds, he will be aspinall's best opponent to date.

Evloev vs. Grundy
Movsar Evloev, SUB, R2
this kinda comes off as a punishment for derailing narimani. i'm gonna take sub here strictly based on grundy having been tapped before. plus i have a habit of picking like 10+ decisions on each card and i wanna have more fun.

Pessoa vs. Boser
Tanner Boser, DEC
i took boser on accident last time and it helped me so i owe him a few heart picks. anything can happen at hw, but i'll take what seems to be the more mobile guy here.

Correia vs. Kianzad
Bethe Correia, DEC
seems destined for a decision. i'll take bethe, she can probably control the striking exchanges.

Emeev vs. Stolze
Ramazan Emeev, DEC
all 3 losses by decision doesn't point towards success against emeev. i think it's possible emeev breaks him late too though.

Wood vs. Castañeda
Nathaniel Wood, SUB, R2
definitely picking wood, just not exactly sure on method. considering sub because that seems to be wood's primary game.

Whittaker vs. Till
Robert Whittaker, DEC
depends how whittaker looks after the time off. if he fights patient, i think he has the ability to set the pacing and force till to engage on his terms. if he allows it to get ugly then there's the chance he gets clipped. still like his gas tank better i think.

Rua vs. Nogueira III
Maurício Rua, DEC
was gonna say shogun in r1, but i think the whole respect thing is gonna translate to a tepid fight.

Werdum vs. Gustafsson
Alexander Gustafsson, TKO, R2
both guys have clear paths to victory. hoping gus will be wise enough to avoid grappling at all costs though.

Nah Werdum only "looked" good beating the bum cain vela.
Lot of his other wins were bs controversial or coasting.
He has also proven his chin is greatly diminished, Werdum Must Grapple.
If he doesn't Gus can beat him a number of ways, ko is likely his best.
Just watched full weigh in didn't see stares yet, Werdum looked like a 40 yr about to play volleyball.
Gus looked soft but not terrible, hell shogun looked as flabby normal for him.
Robert looked huge no wonder he stopped cutting to 170, till looked lean kinda small for 180.
Mad dog olivera looked fit physically at least, rest were not worth note.
All in all fights should be good wish had fast enough web to watch it.
