Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 340 Points   |   Tied for 2064th

Woodley vs. Burns
Tyron Woodley, SUB, R4
I think Tyron should be a huge favorite here, a huge one. He is so experienced and is a former champion. Sure he looked bad against Usman and got dominated, but you can’t discredit the man. He was a dominant champion. He knocked out Robbie Lawler, beat up Wonderboy Thompson on the feet and on the ground, controlled and had amazing defense for Demian Maia’s dominant jiu jitsu game, and dropped and choked out Darren Till. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me. You look at Gilbert and the biggest win he has is a flash TKO win over Demian Maia when Tyron controlled Maia and stuffed all of his takedowns. We still don’t even know if Gilbert could handle Maia’s grappling game because he didn’t have to deal with it. I think Gilbert is a badass for stepping up to fight a pound for pound fighter on short notice, but I think with all my heart this is going to be a bad night for him. I think in round 4 Tyron takes down Burns and smashes him with huge elbows. But, Burns is a good jiu jitsu player in his own right and maybe he will be able to pressure Tyron since Tyron can’t deal with pressure. Anything can happen I just am going with the obvious result.

Ivanov vs. Sakai
Augusto Sakai, TKO, R3
I so far am not a fan of this card and currently this is the second biggest fight and that is sad. Blaygoy could take Sakai down and wrestle him for 3 rounds but I think Sakai is a lot more explosive on the feet and he may get a TKO. I don’t know nor do I even care for that matter.

Hill vs. Abreu
Jamahal Hill, DEC
Hill is sharp on his feet and he looked splendid in his last fight putting everything together. I haven’t seen much from Abreu but from what I have seen, he is a bit slow and sloppy and urgent to grapple and I think Hill will be too fast for him.

Dern vs. Cifers
Mackenzie Dern, SUB, R2
Cifers is the most uninteresting fighter on this planet. She has no urgency and she stays back and is timid throwing sloppy kicks hoping to get a decision. She will only win if she fights bums like Jodie Esquibel and gets razor close decisions. Dern looked terrible against Ribas but Ribas is a very good fighter in her own right. Dern will most likely use her jiu jitsu credentials to get a second round armbar in this dull and bland match up.

The fighters probably know if they're fighting or not on this card. They're probably just waiting on COVID tests before they announce them to the media.

@arcz I've no doubt Tywhine could make me beg for my life. This is not a useful observation to make however because Hannah Cifers could probably do that--especially if she threatened to send me a nude selfie. Regardless, it would be a welcome change from begging it to be ended which is something I've experienced numerous occasions when listening to him blame racism for his lack of fanfare. Or when Listening to his hip hop. Or watching him fight Usman or WB.

Let me flip the script on you: What evidence is there that he is an intelligent fighter? Is it the way his entire strategy is predicated on fence-grinding and an overhand right and should either prove impossible as was the case in the Usman fight, he shuffles around the octagon getting dogpilled? Is it the way he has zero heart and can be made to retreat as soon as he gets hit with anything? Is it the way he blames race for every man and his dog deriding him and not giving a **** about him genuinely despite the fact there are literally black superstars in the UFC? Actually, this last point is pertinent. Consider how popular Guys like Romero and Ngannou are, and they've never even been champs.

Is it the way he can scarcely form a coherent sentence and looks like a Fur Seal affected by Trisomy 21?

Probably going to be boring but I was always impressed that Ivanov survived pretty serious stab in a bar fight I think

Hill vs. Abreu
Jamahal Hill, DEC
I think Hill can do big things in ufc. He really impressed me in his last fight against Stošić

Strange... the 250 card has added bouts and is up to 9 (at the time of this post) yet this card is a week away and still no updates...
