But GSP did beat Hendricks!  Check the record bud! Haha

I can't believe you actually compared GSP to ****** Ronda Rousey!!!!! ***!!!!!

You've obviously made your mind up about GSP so I ain't even going to try and state my case.
It's almost universally agreed upon that GSP is a top 3 all time GREAT. I don't know what to say?

Appealing to popularity isn't an argument, and means nothing. If it were, and Ariana Grande and Mcdonalds would be the height of Gastronomy and Music. Have you met many real people Mikey? I have. And most of them are dumb as ****. They eat tide pods and hang plastic nutsacks on their towbars. They give money to Kim Kardashian and believe God created light before he created the Sun.

Take your goggles off, and look at what I wrote again.

I'm not trying to argue my case. There is no point. It is very obvious that you have your own opinion and I've learned over time that me, or nobody else on this site is gonna change your mind on anything Fishy mate!!! Haha

For me, GSP is an all time great, if not THE greatest he's 1 of them for me. He beat all the competition from his time as an up n coming contender to winning the belt, defending it against every single legitimate contender over 7 years. Came back and added another belt just as another achievement in an already great career.
Yes, he didn't do it in the most crowd pleasing style, I much prefer striking to wrestling and control, but won. He was also clean, unlike Anderson and Jones.

He most likely would lose to the majority of the top 10 guys of today. But any champion of 10 years ago would, MMA has massively improved and developed over a short span of time. So I don't use that as a reason not to rate him. I look at what he accomplished during his time

Not strictly true Mikey. If Joshua beats Fury, I'll have no argument and I'll have to accept he's far better than I've given him credit for. I mean, what am I going to say at that point?

I actually think he'd beat Wilder now. Before the Fury fight I'd have written him off, but Deontay literally cannot fight backwards. I mean, literally he cannot do that. It's such a massive, glaringly obvious issue I can no longer back him in that fight.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 4 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 1564th

Smith vs. Teixeira
Anthony Smith, TKO, R4
Man I wanna believe in Glover but Smith is great at keeping guys at his range, especially pocket boxers like Glover, where he can save his power for the later rounds which is the time that Smith really shines. Unless Teixeira is able to work him and get an early submission, Smith will take over and finish him in the later rounds

St. Preux vs. Rothwell
Ovince St. Preux, TKO, R2
Sorry but Rothwell has looked like hot garbage since his return. It's hard to say how OSP will cope with the move up but the speed advantage should definitely be there for him. Will likely be a slow start for him as usual but I can see him catching a tired Rothwell in the second

Dober vs. Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez, DEC
I'm not fully convinced with the Dober hype, he looked good against Nasrat but I've found him to be a little overrated so far. Dober has strong wrestling but I think it'll be the pressure from Hernandez that will win him the later rounds, hasn't really fought anyone with the same kind of strength that Hernandez has up until now. Dober will start aggressive but Hernandez should take over and work him for rounds 2 and 3

Benítez vs. Morales
Gabriel Benítez, TKO, R2
Omar's a strong dude but Benitez has shown to be a better all-around fighter with a lot of power. Was arguably winning the Yusuff fight, even knocked him down before getting stopped, I think he'll just be too much for Omar

Sherman vs. Villanueva
Chase Sherman, TKO, R2
Ike's fight with Coulter seemed like he only started striking a few days prior, super sloppy with non-existent head movement. Sherman had shown a lot of patience since his fight with Coulter despite the two fight skid. If he stays calm and survives the blitz it should be an easy finish on a gassed Ike

@Jurko i think he was the first to weigh in as well. I see Roberson missed weight by a pound and a half.

Arlovski vs. Lins
Philipe Lins, TKO, R2
Lins was an ANIMAL in PFL

Johnson will use his crisp striking to win a decision

Sherman vs. Villanueva
Chase Sherman, TKO, R1
Chase has looked good since being released.

Not sure what can be made of the weigh ins but looks more like bellator lotta idiots missed weight or just in wrong division cracks evil smile.
You know **** that good for OSP manned up like miss jones never has..I hope he gets a chance to sub ben before those size 3-5 xl mitts start bludgeoning him.
FYI Newbmeats 136, 156 186, 205.5 are all missing weight just not enforced unless a title also maybe just my OCD.
Just to get another down vote evil smiles back GSP Did win he landed way more strikes I've rewatched many times.
Hendricks was much worse of a crotch sniffer too he did it to robbie, carlos and every other non bum he fought knowing his 1 dimensional striking wouldnt hold up.
Except that glass jawed kickboxer he sent him flying ah the good old roid days, bring back UBER REEM!!! :>oh yeah and maybe Jones cold win one hahahahah.

@josh every weight class has a one pound grace for all non title fights. So coming in up to a pound over  weight is NOT missing weight.

Anyway, what were you saying about newbies?

@damien, its true i am a fan of khabib but there are things about him i dont like

1) he doesnt fight often enough, i'll agree with you on that one. but hes hardly the only ufc champ to fall into that category. stipe, nunes and others in the past fit the bill also. or conor, a 2 division champ that never defended either belt and had both stripped for inactivity.

2) hes muslim. i am a BIG critic of religion straight across the board, i dont see where it has anyplace in combat sports. but again hes hardly the only one, max holloway and yoel romero spend a lot more time talking to the invisible man than khabib does.

3) fighting style. the first couple of rounds usually arent that exciting, but sambo is a different sport than free style wrestling and once he maintains control he goes for the finish. he doesnt just lay and pray to decision.

as far as being a fan of a certain fighter the criteria i use to decide is different for every fighter and its all personal choice. i never claimed to be unbiased in defending my personal favorites. i will say the more the ufc and dana  favor a fighter the less i like that fighter. i was a jon jones fan, i even defended him when he was involved in the car wreck. i am of the opinion that if you arent in jail on fight night then your'e good to go as far as im concerned. but when the ufc moved an entire card on 3 days notice to let him fight hot i went from fan to hater in one smooth move. and i wont even start on conor.
