I dont think Fedor is going to have any trouble getting past Silva. Silva has nothing that Fedor hasn't faced before and coming off the lose to Werdum he's going to be a better, smarter fighter against Silva.

I believe these fights are all 3 Five minute rounds, and if thats the case, I believe Fedor wins Via Dec. It will be fairly close but Fedor shouldnt have TOO many problems. Key word there being "Shouldnt."

Fedor has always been the giant slayer... Silva will present and change nothing for The Last Emperor, and will get KO'd like some many before him in the first round.

Has fedor really been landed on cleanly since fujita rocked him?  Not that i can remember at least.
I think that hit made fedor a lot more conscious of his striking defence.  Silva wont land clean on fedor and even if he did, he landed on arlovski a couple times and arlovski made it to decision.  Fedor by first round tko im thinking, but i think fedor will lose to either barnett or overeem.

Silva is a great fighter and I really like the guy but he has been knocked out, plus the knockdown by Mike Kyle so I think Fedor will take this one late. I love watching him fight though he should put on a great show.

When a LHW tested Bigfoot's chin I don't see how Fedor doesn't KO Silva possibly in violent fashion.

@piercerdan Fedor got hit flush by some nasty gnp from Rogers in their fight but looked relatively unscathed, as he transitioned to an armbar in the middle of that hailstorm, he can definitely still take a punch

@thefreeman I don't think I would describe Rogers' brief flurry of ground strikes as "nasty", since Fedor was actively working for the armbar in the middle of it, as you said.  If your ground-and-pound from stacked position can't even stop the guy from rolling his hips, then that's not a good sign.  I mean, none of those strikes even left a mark, really, since his only real damage was the broken nose that he suffered at the very beginning of the fight.

Fedor has looked increasingly mortal in his most recent fights, this is true, but I have a hard time understanding why some people think Rogers really had Fedor in trouble at any point in that fight.  The most Rogers did was use his weight to muscle Fedor against the cage for periods of time, but cause no damage, and have that brief and fleeting exchange on the ground.  Fedor's broken nose is really Rogers' claim to fame in that fight, and that was from the first strike of the fight.  It's tough when everything goes downhill from there, haha.

Fedor is too calm, cool, and collective for Big Foot ... after he catches him with that big shot he's going to pick his shots while going for the kill

Too much stand-up power. The reach of Silva should make a jab-related strategy lengthen his stay in this match until the 2nd round.
