Usman vs. Burns
Kamaru Usman, DEC
In the Thread I started around March on Usmans fighter page, I said I believed only Colby and Gilbert were the only ones with a shot to dethrone Usman, but I still have too much confidence in Kamaru. Though it pains me to say it, I'm picking him

VanZant vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, TKO, R2
Ribas annihalated Markos in the last fight, I'm hopping on the Hype Train "Choo Choo ************s" - Artem

Zaleski vs. Salikhov
Elizeu Zaleski, TKO, R2
Not confident on this one, but IDC itll be fun

Tybura vs. Romanov
Alexander Romanov, TKO, R1
I hope Romanov gets things done early, or else this one will warrant a twitter scroll

Melo vs. Rosa
Karol Rosa, TKO, R2
Melo still in the UFC? Happy for her but sad for any fighters cut to make room for her, I'd definitely rather have Ben Saunders in the UFC than her

This matchup has the feeling of a great trilogy. I am going to say Holloway by decision.

Usman vs. Burns
Gilbert Burns, TKO, R3
This fight will be determined by two things. How effective Trevor Wittman is for Usman’s style, and how afraid of going to the ground Usman is. I think the very fact that he went to a coach like Wittman indicates he’s planning for a standup battle. And while I favor Usman for cardio and speed, I favor the powerful fighter who is willing to utilize all of his tools much more. Very excited.

Volkanovski vs. Holloway II
Max Holloway, DEC
Everyone acts like Volk shut Holloway out, and that just isn’t the case. He won handedly, but I see clear, fixable paths to victory for Holloway. If he’s still got the motivation, he’ll pick up a decision. However, it’s hard to underestimate Eugene Bareman, Volk could come out and try to just big brother Holloway this time.

Yan vs. Aldo
José Aldo, TKO, R4
All Champ underdogs. You already know I’m putting them in a parlay. I have no justification for this fight other than Aldo beat Morales in my eyes, and Yan has not beat anyone nearly that good other than a Rivera who had his last shot snatched away by Aljo.

Andrade vs. Namajunas II
Rose Namajunas, DEC
Big X factor here. I don’t think Rose would fight if she wasn’t comfortable with it anymore. I’ll have faith in her psyche. She’s clearly the better fighter, just needs to be careful in the close range.

VanZant vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, SUB, R3
Lol.

Oezdemir vs. Procházka
Volkan Oezdemir, TKO, R2
I need to watch more tape on Jiri, but I see Oezdemir showing him that there are other LH with explosive hands.

Zaleski vs. Salikhov
Muslim Salikhov, DEC
Fence and mat smothering victory for the Russian.

Amirkhani vs. Henry
Danny Henry, SUB, R3
Expect Makwan to shoot and expect him to get tired. These two things are definitely going to happen. I give Henry the edge everywhere except for if he ends up on bottom.

Santos vs. Bogatov
Roman Bogatov, DEC
Father Time seems scared to go to Brazil, cause these 40 year olds seem to be in better shape than most 20 year olds. I’m still picking Bogatov by a 29-28, need to watch a bit more tape on some of Santos fighting shorter fighters though. Both have mean chokes, especially arm triangles, but I favor the shorter and stronger fighter to end up on top in wrestling exchanges.

Tybura vs. Romanov
Alexander Romanov, TKO, R1
Please give me an exciting wrestler at heavyweight now that DC is leaving. Needs to be tested in the cage, but I’m hoping he literally throws Tybura onto Dana’s head. Not gonna bet this one though.

Zhumagulov vs. Paiva
Raulian Paiva, DEC
Stick and move. Maybe catch Zhalgas walking onto a punch, but we’ll see.

Melo vs. Rosa
Vanessa Melo, DEC
Trying to work up the energy to watch tape on these two. Rosa has a better record I’ll pick her for now.

Day vs. Grant
Martin Day, DEC
Possibly fight of the night. Both active with rangey striking and spinning techniques. If they both throw caution to the wind, we could see a fun knockout. I’m calling at least one sidekick to the face. I give Grant the edge in grappling and Day the edge in cardio. Dealers choice here, I’ve picked mostly dogs on this card so I’ll stay consistent and go with another dog.

Usman vs. Burns
Kamaru Usman, DEC
I say Usman simply dominates Burns for five rounds, constant submission attempts and ground and pound. First round, equal light striking, not much happening, then he takes Gil down towards the end of the round and not much happens besides ground control. Round 2, Usman takes him down early in the round but struggles to get him down for a minute, but eventually does, and unleashes some brutal ground and pound towards the end of the round. Round 3, Usman fails at a few takedown attempts early, Gil lands some good shots, Usman evades and stays cautious, then Usman clinches Gil on the cage for the remainder of the round. Round 4, Usman comes out more aggressive and pressures Gil. Usman goes for the takedown very early and gets it easy. He uses constant ground and pound for the remainder of the round. Round 5, Usman clinches a few times and misses a few takedowns attempts. They will strike for a minute, then Usman will go for a takedown. Usman will go for a submission attempts that is sunk in very deep, but doesn't get it when Gil slips out. He just calmly controls Gil for the remainder of the round. Usman def. Burns via Unanimous Decision (49-46)

Yan vs. Aldo
Petr Yan, TKO, R1
I think there won't be a whole lot going on until Yan hits Jose with some good punches and kicks and knocks him down for the ground and pound TKO

Andrade vs. Namajunas II
Jéssica Andrade, DEC
I think it'll be a rather boring fight and Namajunas takes the split decision

VanZant vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, SUB, R1
I think she takes Paige's back in the first few minutes and sinks in the flying rear naked choke for the tap

Oezdemir vs. Procházka
Volkan Oezdemir, DEC
UD all on the feet, striking and clinching.

Zaleski vs. Salikhov
Muslim Salikhov, DEC
UD from a dominant grappling performance

Amirkhani vs. Henry
Danny Henry, SUB, R3
I think it's pretty equal on the feet, Makwan with winning with takedowns and control, Dan sinks in the guillotine in round 3

Andrade vs Namajunas

Predictions: 9 of 13 Winners, 4 Perfect, 580 Points   |   Tied for 1538th

The thing with this fight is that we don´t know how Namajunas has been feeling throughout fight camp. I heard that her family was severely impacted by the coronavirus.

What I can say is that Rose can beat Andrade pretty easily if she is prepared physically and mentally, we all know that Rose was on her way to winning the first fight, she was picking andrade aparte up until the huge slam.

"The fight game is life!"
