Is Romanov really a 'Beast"??? I've been fooled before by fighters from that Eagles FC having undefeated records, long wins streaks, lot's of finishes only for them to be TERRIBLE!!! Anyone remember Nick Negumeranu!!!??? He came in undefeated and got spanked by ****** Saparbeg Safarov!!!!! Or a guy Tybura just beat, Sergey Spivak us another 1. I'm going go with actual UFC experience

@Mikey I agree to an extent, a lot of these Eagles guys have crushed more cans than a recycling plant. But I've seen Romanov fight a few times, and those fights haven't ever been close. He does little brother everyone. He doesn't have much power but his cardio is really good for a fat ****** and his wrestling and top control is superb. Him and Musaev have been on my Radar for a while.Tybura isn't that great TBH and I'll be pretty surprised he manages to keep this fight standing. I'm thinking Romanov TKO from the top....he's got subs too though.

Heh. JK. Romanov beats up dudes half his size and gasses after 1 His striking sucks. He won't get Tybura down and will get KO'ed.

Now Musaev, you do mean Tofiq Musayev Rizin Lightweight GP winner do you?
He is a guy I think does well in the UFC!  I try not to make any bold predictions until these kinda guys actually fight a top 15 calibre fighter because I've been burned before!  Ie was convinced Dagi Arsanaliev was gonna murder everyone in ONE in his way to the UFC and eventually Khabib then he goes and gets finished by Christian Lee!!!
But I have been impressed with Musayev, he's smashed every one he's faced in Rizin, he destroyed the worse Pitbull but Pitbull was injured from his previous fight. So yeah, I will wait and see.
Going back to Romanov, I've been burned by these undefeated guys with impressive records too many times to have any faith in them

Nah, shamil Musaev. Kid's a beast, quite possibly the next Nurmy.  Fights in KSW and is definitely one to watch. Needs to happen soon for him though at age 26.

Romanov isn't good really. He looks good against dudes he massively outsizes but yeah, Tybura aint' that. Tybura is  easily better than him at pretty much everything and I'm fairly confident he would have finished all the bums romanov has blown through too. He's got absolutely woeful striking...no power on the feet, throws arm punches, his entries are sloppy....just not a prospect heavy IMO.

It's a weird booking. I think he burns his gas in the first and get's TKO'ed late in the second.

Wrong generic Russian named guy, there's a LOT of them!! Ha. Can't say I've watched much of Musaev, I'm aware of him. Roberto Soldic is the guy from KSW who I like, reminds me of CroCop.  So many of these guys with potential that fight in Poland, Russia, Asia etc.

Yeah I know Tybura ain't great, I just don't trust guys like Romanov!!

Usman vs. Burns
Gilbert Burns, DEC
Usman is a talented fighter, but I don't see how he can win this. Standing, Burns has a good chin, more power and might be more technical, and his JJB skills are so dangerous, it would be a mistake for Usman to take him down. Burns showed amazing cardio in his last 5 rounds fight, so I just thinks we will see a new champ here. Fighter of the year by far.

Andrade vs. Namajunas II
Rose Namajunas, DEC
Namajunas should win this by decision, but Andrade is always dangerous.

Im a big fan of Salikhov and see him winning this one by TKO in Rd 2. Salikhov is in my top 15 at 170 (#11)

Tybura vs. Romanov
Marcin Tybura, DEC
Romanov is a newcomer, who knows what kind of competition he has faced so far. I see 2 big bums heaving for air until the decision.

Day vs. Grant
Martin Day, TKO, R2
Who knows? Never seen either them. I just figure Day pops the Brit, although I dont know what the Hawaiian's hands are like but its what I see in my head.

Usman vs. Burns
Kamaru Usman, DEC
are we playing now?USMAN is underated champ, i don't see in the roster right now somebody that can beat him.

Volkanovski vs. Holloway II
Alexander Volkanovski, DEC
i really hope to bet wrong on this but i don't see max winning this fight,BUT i don't think alex is the best in this weight class, I would love to see him against henry/zabit or T-city, I do believe that if max will be motivate- he will beat him but I think max doesn't have drive anymore

Yan vs. Aldo
Petr Yan, DEC
aldo getting title shot after 2 L is crazy, I am not sure that he won the fight against marlon, I do know that yan is not as great like people think, I do believe that Aljo is wild card so he can't be champ for long,Cody is also wild card but if he stay focus like the last fight?wow...in the end-people doesn't realize yet how good sugar striking is, sugar and henry is making yan looking like noob, the rest?wild card, I hope aldo will win but i think yan will make him tried and win in D

Andrade vs. Namajunas II
Jéssica Andrade, TKO, R1
81% with rose?she lost the first fight...i dont believe it will be any different

Oezdemir vs. Procházka
Volkan Oezdemir, TKO, R1
CB DOLLAWAY IS GUY THAT THIS GUY BEAT,no time is back,R1 ko

Zaleski vs. Salikhov
Elizeu Zaleski, DEC
I hate the boring style of zaleski but i don't think he lose this one,D for zaleski

Amirkhani vs. Henry
Makwan Amirkhani, DEC
classic D fight, both of them are talker but i don't think we see finish here

Santos vs. Bogatov
Leonardo Santos, TKO, R1
santos is old,but he is just like wine,he will ko this guy in R1

Tybura vs. Romanov
Alexander Romanov, TKO, R1

Predictions: 6 of 13 Winners, 3 Perfect, 415 Points   |   Tied for 3104th

Yan vs. Aldo
José Aldo, DEC
I'm going with my heart here. Aldo is 1 of my original favourites along with Anderson and Machida I remember watching highlights on YouTube of Aldo lighting fools up!!! His run through WEC was truly destructive! His counter knee vs Franco Nogueira, his jumping double switch knee in 10 secs vs Swanson!!! I will always route for Scarface. Also, I know Yan has looked really good but if he really look at his record he has gotten a title shot without beating 1 top 10 guy!!! Faber, Dodson Jimmy Rivera and Rivera beat him for the vast majority of that fight, only to be dropped at the end of 2 rounds! Dodson wobbled him too! I know I'm clutching at straws a little but Jose Aldo is by far and away the toughest fight of Yans career

VanZant vs. Ribas
Amanda Ribas, SUB, R2
Don't know why but I have a strong feeling Paige doesn't make this fight. Her arm breaks again!!!

Oezdemir vs. Procházka
Volkan Oezdemir, TKO, R3
I have enjoyed watching Jiri smash fools over in Rizin and I'm happy he is in the UFC now. But, Oezdimer is about as tough a debut he could get. Oezdimer is not gonna be bullied or crumble when hit. I see Jiri starting well but Oezdimer takes what he's got, Jiri tires and is finished late.

Amirkhani vs. Henry
Danny Henry, TKO, R2
Amirkhanis a bust! Remember he came into the UFC and hit a flying knee, he had a bit of hype around him. Has great grappling but doesn't have the cardio to sustain it for more than a round. His last 2 fights sum him up, it's either a 1st round sub/finish or he gases and gets beaten up and out pointed or finished. He also lost to Jason Knight, was dropped, outstruck, don't know how he got that decision??? Henry is Scottish. That's enough for me!!!!

Santos vs. Bogatov
Roman Bogatov, DEC
Another M1 Champ joins the UFC, keep an eye out for Shavkat Rakhmanov and Alex Doskalchuk on fight Island too. Bogatov looked really impressive in the 3 or 4 fights I've seen him in, good all round, can finish and good cardio. Santos is a veteran who has been on a tear but he has been very unactive, at 40 years old thats gotta be a factor. Bogatov should have enough to neutralise Santos and win a classic Russian fighter wall nd stall decision!!!

I don't see max Holloway making the necessary improvements to beat Volkanovski. But I wouldn't be surprised if Holloway gets the job done.
