Not a fan of Diaz at all but can't deny that he is good. His unique striking ability throws off his opponents i see Diaz completly destroying Santos...Strikeforce must be getting desperate to find him opponents haha id like to see him comeback to UFC and face some real competition

@maxxabillion: have to disagree this is a good match up. I stole this from BloodyElbow.com

At welterweight, this was the only match that made sense for the promotion. Paul Daley wasn't ready to fight Diaz on such short notice after his big knockout win over Scott Smith in December. Tyron Woodleyand Tarec Saffiedine aren't yet high profile enough names to be featured players in a big-time Showtime main event. Cyborg is the promotion's best available fighter at 170 - who better to challenge for the title? Not only has he earned a shot with a big win over former contender Zaromskis, some close to the bout believe he's actually a more well rounded fighter than Daley. He's better on the ground and may be harder for Diaz to submit if they do hit the mat.

Nobody has picked Santos to win this fight... That's sad. Maybe somebody will eventually. I think Diaz is a pretty clear favorite in this fight. It sucks strikeforce doesn't have anyone better to face Diaz than Santos.

Diaz vs Mayhem was the fight everyone wanted to see. Usually I'm an advocate of guys staying in their weight class, and not getting pushed all over the place based on whatever the promoter thinks might be a cool matchup.

But in this case I think this was clearly the matchup that made sense. Frustrating they couldn't settle on a catchweight of 180 or so.

Both Diaz and Mayhem need to shut their mouths. Neither want to move up or down so the fight isn't happening, unless one of them decides to do so. It's a terrible situation for strikeforce to have their WW champion move up and possibly lose. But really it's Mayhem who started the crap if I remember correctly so he should probably move down and fight the champion. He's made 170 before.
