Though not official yet, it seems almost certain that Billy Joe Saunders is the opponent for Canelo's annual Cinco de Mayo fight.
Out of the 3 names being discussed, Saunders, Callum Smith and Ryota Murata, I feel like Saunders is the toughest fight for Canelo. Not really any danger of being KO'd but I think Saunders could frustrate Canelo and make it a boring kinda fight, similar to Erislandy Lara, tho that fight was over 5 years ago so, of course, Canelo is much improved since then but will he still be troubled by the cagey, countering style that Saunders uses.
Probably not! But I am still gonna stick to my guns and never pick Canelo to win! He will lose 1 of these day!!
