I would love to see Lauzon win against a guy like Pettis. But sadly I dont see it happening.

I'd like to see Lauzon win too, and I think that he can do it, but it really depends on where Lauzon is at mentally coming into this fight. If the Joe Lauzon shows up that beat Melvin Guillard, then it's Lauzon's fight, but if the Lauzon shows up that fought Sotiropolous, then it's going to be Pettis' fight.

No matter what, I think that this fight will go the full 3 rounds.

I think the loss to Guida kinda ****** with Pettis' mind a bit.  In his next fight with Stephens he tried to play it pretty safe, and barely won.  I think he's going to get caught midway through the first.

I see Pettis hanging in through Lauzon's initial Blitzkrieg and finishing him in some fashion in the 2nd round.

Lauzon may have some unexpected wins on his record, but Pettis is still approaching the peak of his career.  I think Pettis is far too talented and athletic for Lauzon.  Too much for him to handle.

I'm a little disappointed that this fight didn't make the 143 card, which it was originally linked to. I don't know, I just felt it meshed well with the other possible fights on there so far. I wish Lauzon didn't want to take so much time off.

Too early for me to predict this fight, but I'd give Pettis the edge, I'm just not sure how he takes it. Lauzon's no joke, but he's strikes me as one of those guys who always takes one step forward, then loses and takes a step back. At the same time, people tend to underestimate him and he usually proves them wrong. Should be interesting.
