Merab is a chain wrestler, he tends to use all of his energy in takedowns and grappling exchanges. Wasting energy by allowing his opponents to get up over and over and having to work so hard for another takedown. That will be his downfall against someone as hyper speed as Dodson. He will get Dodson down for sure, but he will have to chase him like a rabbit and then work for it expending a lot of energy just to have Dodson get up. I think Dodson can last longer and the speed is going to be the killer once Merab slows down. Dodson weathers Rd1 and dances around and picks Merab apart the rest of the fight for a SD win. Merab can use his wrestling skills so much better, and soon he will get there. But I think this will be a learning fight for him. Don’t forget Dodson hung in there with the Mighty Mouse. Get ready for the magic show!

Dodson has never allowed a pass in his entire career on the ground. However he did give back control body lock for 3 mins to Yan. Back control body lock is Merabs favorite position. This is gonna be a great fight. has FOTN potential.
