Predictions: 9 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 545 Points | Tied for 319th
The UFC’s statement is below:
The middleweight bout between Uriah Hall vs Jacaré Souza will no longer be on the UFC 249 preliminary card due to one of Souza’s COVID-19 tests indicating a positive result. In addition, COVID-19 tests for Souza’s two cornermen were also flagged as positive. UFC’s medical team examined Souza and his two cornermen and found them to be currently asymptomatic, or not exhibiting the common symptoms of COVID-19. As per UFC’s health and safety protocols, all three men have left the host hotel and will be self-isolating off premises, where UFC’s medical team will monitor their conditions remotely and will provide assistance with any necessary treatment. From their arrival earlier in the week until their departure today, Souza and his cornermen followed UFC health and safety protocols, including practicing social distancing, wearing personnel protective equipment, and self-isolating whenever possible. There have been no other positive COVID-19 tests reported from the remaining athletes participating in UFC 249. The response to this development is indicative of the effectiveness of the health and safety measures UFC has put in place for this event. Saturday’s UFC 249 card, which airs live on pay-per-view and is headlined by a battle for the interim lightweight title between No. 1-ranked lightweight contender Tony Ferguson and No. 4-ranked Justin Gaethjewill proceed as scheduled with 11 bouts.

Tony Ferguson, SUB, R3
Ferguson can actually kick pretty hard too. He doesn't throw as many leg kicks as Justin, but he does throw many teep kicks to the body. Justin's cardio is good, but he can definitely slow down in the later rounds

Tony Ferguson, DEC
Tony Ferguson all day.
Cejudo vs. Cruz
Dominick Cruz, DEC
I would really love to see Cruz take the belt from Cejudo, Cejudo is ******* brilliant but so was Cruz 3 years ago. I would love to see Cruz get a finish but i think a decision win is more likely!
N'Gannou vs. Rozenstruik
Francis N'Gannou, TKO, R2
Rozenstruik has only beaten old washed up heavyweights such as Arlovski and was losing the fight against Overeem.. i cannot see him withstanding a large blow from Ngannou who looked ******* massive at the weigh ins.. I will be giving a prize to anyone who can locate Rozenstruiks head once Ngannou has hit a home run at the start of round 2.
Stephens vs. Kattar
Calvin Kattar, DEC
Stephens looked terrible at the weigh ins, he looked ill. Kattar looked good and is much better than Stephens, i think this will be a very routine victory for Kattar.
Hardy vs. De Castro
Greg Hardy, TKO, R1
Greg Hardy is not exactly in great shape however De Castro at the weigh ins looked like a short overweight man. Granted he has a lot of power however Greg Hardy is a lot taller and has a much bigger reach so i just can't see De Castro being able to do anything to put Hardy down.
Cerrone vs. Pettis II
Anthony Pettis, TKO, R1
Cerrone looked to happy and calm at the weigh ins for a man who is on a 3 fight losing streak, i favour the younger Pettis to add to Cerrones KO losses.
Werdum vs. Oleinik
Fabrício Werdum, TKO, R2
I do not like Oleinik. I still watch him get flattened by Walt Harris to this day and it never fails to make me laugh. I was shocked at Werdum at the weigh ins, his body looked strange.. however i still expect him to finish an ageing Oleinik who lets be honest if it doesn't go the floor has got no chance.
Esparza vs. Waterson
Michelle Waterson, DEC
Could not give a **** about this fight.
Luque vs. Price
Vicente Luque, TKO, R3
Luque should be able to make this 2-0 against Niko Price. Price is unpredictable and his KO of Brown and Vick were bloody good however i don't see him getting a highlight reel finish against Luque, dont get me wrong it could happen but i see Luque getting a last minute finish or win by UD.
Rosa vs. Mitchell
Bryce Mitchell, SUB, R2
MUCH closer than the percentages are suggesting. Mitchells last fight against Sayles he was the betting underdog which i could never understand so he helped me win big money so i like him for that reason, but he didn't just win that fight he twisted the poor ****** into submission. I do expect Bryce Mitchell to remain undefeated at the end of this fight however it's definitely not as one sided as the percentages make out. i would not be shocked if Rosa got the win.
Spann vs. Alvey
Ryan Spann, TKO, R1
For a man that has only been to decision twice in 17 wins this should be an easy finish victory for Spann, much taller, big reach advantage, he should piece Alvey up to get the first round finish.
