I'm not sold on Melian yet... But this is ALMOST the perfect fight for him. Against an experienced, former world title challenger, and is winless in his last 3 fights. Hasn't actually tasted victory since July 2018. Which is a looong time in boxing terms. It's a legit make or break a career kinda fight. A fight neither can afford to lose.

Flores vs. Baez

In my opinion, this is the best fight on the card. Flores was at one time, a legit fighter and champ. I call him a Champ even though he was never the full champ, but he did win the Interim WBA "Super" World Bantamweight Belt & defended his Interim belt twice. If you defend an interim belt, you're a defending champion pretty much. But then he ran into Guillermo Rigondeaux & got absolutely obliterated in 1 round. Rigondeaux KO'd Flores at the bell the end of Round 1. Originally a Round 1, KO win for Rigondeaux, but then Nevada Athletic Commission overturned the win into a No Contest. Then Flores suffered 2 straight losses afterwards, including getting KO'd in Round 3 by Brandon Figueroa. Another fighter who was once a very legit fighter, but now winless in his last 3. And Flores hasn't won a fight in an even longer time span than Oscar Negrete.. Flores hasnt won a fight since June 2016. That's how hungry for a win Flores is, will be, & has to be when facing off with the much younger & opportunistic Leo Baez. Baez is looking to collect the biggest name on his record. But I'm leaning towards Flores, because I don't put Leonardo Baez in the same grouping as Guillermo Rigondeaux, Daniel Roman, or Brandon Figueroa...

Not sold on Melian? Did you not see the absolute destructive clinic he put on in his last fight???

Plus, old "Chucky" Flores gonna take an ass whooping too!!!!

Honestly the fight that sticks out in my mind, was that ****** insane fight he had w/ Isaac Zarate at the beginning of last year on that outstanding card that was headlined by Srisaket Sor Rungvisai -vs- Juan Francisco Estrada. That card was great! Do you remember that card & that Melian -vs- Zarate scrap? Also had Daniel Roman -vs- TJ Doheny. Jessie Vargas -vs- Humberto Soto. It was a great card

I think so?  Was it held in Mexico???  I remember there being a DAZN/Matchroom card from Mexico that had lots of action, knockdowns, knock outs, back and forth brawls and a real wild crowd!!!
That isn't the Melian fight that I remember. Was actually his last fight that I 1st ever watched him in action, he systematically beat down this poor guy!!! 
I do remember the Rungvisai Estrada fight.  That was a proper fight!  High skilled, technical violence!!!!  I wanna see Rungvisai back in action, it's been a while.  Now I think if it the Super Flyweight(115lbs) division is super stacked!  You got Rungvisai and Estrada  Khal Yafai and Chocolatito go at it at the end of the month. Carlos Cuadras, Kazuto Ioka, Jerwin Ancajas are top 10 guys all with exciting styles.  Plus 2 guys from Flyweight who I think will move up in the near future and make some real entertaining match ups, wee Ken Shiro and Julio Cesar Martinez are, IMO 2 of very best light weight boxers in the world.  In fact, those 2 need to fight each other!!!!

Strange??!!!!??!!  2 fights in a row stopped due to accidental headbutts!!!
