I like Pedro Carvalho. He caught my eyes at Bellator 200 I think it was, it was one of the cards in England. He fought Daniel Crawford that night. And had no idea who he was before that night, but I did afterwards. His submission win over Luca Vitali was a nice win, but it was fully expected, tho it was a nice performance. But what Carvalho did to Derek Campos.... That was impressive and that's his best win to date. I knew he'd smash Sam Sicilia. Annnd he did. I like Pedro Carvalho. He's a deal that turned out to be better than expected for Bellator. But let's be honest... Patricio Pitbull is a huuuuuge obstacle. One I don't see him getting past. I think Pitbull has the edge, everywhere. I'm thinking Pedro gets KO'd for the 1st time in his career. Unfortunately, I see his aggression working in favor of Pitbull. Because 9 outta 10 times, the guy bringing the fight to Pitbull, winds up waking up to the ref standing over top of them, waving off the fight.
Weichel vs. Sanchez II

I've never really been a fan of Weichel. But I will atleast give him respect for being one of the more technically sound fighters on all of Bellator's roster. And at one point, was very difficult to beat. From August 2010 ─ April 2017, he won 16 of 18 fights, only losing to Pitbull and a guy in M-1. He is always in the fight, and always has his submission game to rely on. But I'm glad Bellator made this rematch. Weichel won the first in July 2016, by Split Decision. And Emmanuel Sanchez is a way better fighter now. So should be a good fight. I just see that5" reach advantage that Sanchez has, actually playing a part in Act 2. He's still an unorthodox, crazy, unpredictable fighter (E. Sanchez) but he's way more controlled now. And definitely understands range better than 3½ years ago. And also, Weichel is only 35, but this is his 52nd fight. That's insane. How much tread is left on those tires right?
Daley vs. Homasi

Speaking of insane amount of fights. Paul Daley at 37 years old, is making his 62nd Pro MMA fight. And literally as good a fight as Daley can get because of the weight his name holds, to get back on to another KO streak. He won't get a better opponent to KO than Sabah Homasi.
Newell vs. Zane

Look. I know that the guy essentially ONLY has 1½ arms... But he shouldn't be catered to & given less than equal opposition time after time. He's the best 1½ armed man I've ever seen. Imagine how good he'd be w/ 2 arms.
Mitrione vs. Markes

For some reason... I feel like Mitrione WILL NOT finish Ronny Markes & his big, dumb face. I dunno man.
Gracie Jr. vs. Goff

C'mon Bellator. Atleast sign another grappler & actually give these guys a challenge... Gracie's are notorious can crushers.
Cotton vs. Sumter

Sheeeeesh. Okay Cotton so far has been the shorter guy in 3/4 fights and the guy w/ the shortest reach in 4/4 fights. So he's used to that disadvantage already, but he's never had to deal with a guy of Sumter's frame before. Cotton is 4" shorter, and has a wingspan 6.5" shorter. That could pose some problems for sure, but I am hoping to see Cotton make the adjustments needed to negate the size difference & win the fight.
Mota vs. Andrews

This was one of the fights I had circled on this card when it was announced..It really has all the ingredients needed, to cook up a fantastic dish of Fight of the Night potential.
Higo vs. Mazzotta

Dominic Mazzotta is a wayyyy better fight for Higo than his previously scheduled opponent, (i already forget who it was) but alot tougher of an opponent tooo. Which Higo is probably pissed off about, cos he went from probably most likely getting a win, to dammmn man, idk. Unfortunately that's also how I feel about Leandro Higo as a whole now.... Like "Daaaamn man, I dunno". He did at one point, look like a very promising prospect. Back when he was the Last RFA & First LFA Bantamweight Champ. But then he came to Bellator & has looked like an amateur. Like "dammmn maaaan, idk".
