Amir Khan, TKO, R2
Amir Khan has faced off with the best guys ONE Championship has to offer, that's why you can't knock him for those losses tooo much. However... He CANNOT let this fight slide, considering Eto is nowhere near the level of Timofey Nastyukhin, Eduard Folayang, or Saygid Arslanaliev. I know Khan did have that Split Decision win over Ev Ting recently, but Eto is the best opponent, for the Singapore native to reeeaally shine, look fantastic, and get back in the win column again. Kimihiro Eto has lost 5x. He's also been KO'd 5x. That's a recipe for disaster for the wrestler outta Japan. He's gonna get sparked sooner or later. Khan by TKO.
Akiyama vs. Mohamed
Yoshihiro Akiyama, DEC
Maaaan. ONE is doing everything they can to get 44½ year old "Sexyama" Akiyama both his 1st win under the ONE CHAMPIONSHIP banner, but also his 1st win since September 2014.. Annnd that stat isn't even the craziest one. Akiyama has ONLY that one win (the last win in 9/2014) since July 11, 2009. We're talking about 1 win, in the last 10+ years. Akiyama needs this baddd. Otherwise I'm not sure how much longer he'll be around. And speaking of going after 1st win in ONE Championship, Sherif Mohamed is after his first ONE win. He's 0 for 3 so far. I guess ONE Championship figured SOMEBODY has to win...... Right?
Teo vs. Miura
Ayaka Miura, SUB, R2
Way I see it... Miura is rapidly ascending the ONE women's Strawweight division, with dominant performance after dominant performance. I think this chick is the reeeaal deal.
Yamaguchi vs. Zamboanga
Mei Yamaguchi, DEC
At this moment in time... I can't help but feel like we will never get Mei Yamaguchi vs. Bo Meng. It's now been scheduled 3x, & cancelled 3x. Its like ONE's equivalent to the UFC's chronically scheduled & cancelled fight between...... I can't say it. I WILL NOT JINX THAT FIGHT. 🤐🤐🤐
Worthen vs. Abelardo
Troy Worthen, TKO, R2
ONE Championship FINALLY giving Troy Worthen his rightfully deserved & owed step-up fight. So far, Worthen has more than lived up to expectations, atleast in my POV. And this is a fantastic fight. A dangerous fight, but an exciting fight. And a fight absolutely necessary to keep moving up the ladder. I expect fireworks here. For as long as it lasts. Keep your eyes on this one.
