I don't usually add African boxing events, there just isn't any quality usually. But this card has 3 World Title fights and some top 15, top 30 guys in their weight divisions. I don't know what it is about South Africa but they produce SO MANY World Class boxers at the lightest weights, ESPN and BoxRecs top 10 Minimum and Flyweight ranks are full o South Africans! I don't know what it is? Just 1 of those strange things
The main and co main event on this card are real good fights. Marin is the undefeated guy, but he is going into enemy territory so he will have the crowd and the judges against him! I think it'ss too much to ask him

Not to sound racist, but I've always wondered how a Kalahari Bushman trained in Boxing would do. These guys are persistence hunters; their method of hunting is simply to run down their prey. They out-cardio it, because over long distances two legs is more efficient than four..... like they will chase an antelope or whatever until it runs out of steam, kill it, then carry it back to camp. They might chase it one direction for eight hours. And they've done this for thousands of years in some of the harshest conditions known on Earth. Imagine those genetics tasked to boxing.

What? They chase down feckin antelope!!!!!! Don't they use arrows, spears, snares for that???? That's wild!
But about the boxing, like I said the lightest weight classes(minimum to Fly) in boxing are full of South Africans, them and Thais. There is a guy, the WBC Minimumweight Champion, Chayaphon Moonsri who is 54-0 yet nobody talks about him! He has the best record in boxing, better than Mayweathers 50-0!!! He has near 20 WBC title defences but he gets no recognition at all! Smaller weight men in any combat sport get no love at all. I think its because you're average 15stone fan thinks they could beat them up!!!
Here's the guys record, 54-0, greatest undefeated boxing record all time and nobody knows who he is!!!!

That's wild!
It's crazy to think how these people still live a lifestyle that is pretty much unchanged for 1000's of years. We in the "civilised" world have lost all of those skills that were essential for living.
I mean, imagine there was a worldwide disaster, massive climate change,m something that wiped out the electric grid or something like that. We would all be ******!!!! Most people would be dead in a matter of weeks. Whereas all the "uncivilised" hunter gathers would just carry on living as normal
