i want to see the fight as much as anyone, but sometimes reality shows its ugly face and there is nothing to be done about it. when i hear people saying khabib is running or ducking the fight it really pisses me off. the fact is its entirely possible that 100,00 to 250,000 people will die in the us before this is over. i think that is more important than danas ego to have this card go on.

I hear you and agree really, despite posting Khabib trying not to catch the El CuCuy. That’s just Jarring some banter and fun loving **** talk..or meant to be. The reality is, I completely agree this fight should’ve just been postponed and the whole card scrapped until the world is in a better place. I without a doubt agree with you, no matter how bored we are. There’s truly a risk/reward situation and I can’t blame anyone not wanting to put their own, family and friends, along with anyone else in jeopardy. Especially the more we learn and the stats on how well masked and contagious this C19 is. I won’t argue that.

im surprised they havent called it off yet. i dont think there is anywhere in the world to find a venue at this point. maybe north korea, lol

tonys been on camera as early as 2+ days ago saying he's not going to agree to fight justin gaethje if the ufc cant even provide him with where the fight is taking place

the narrative that tony won't acknowledge justin gaethje is literally not even real

@mikey I don’t think it’s that he doesn’t respect him as a contender, realize his or DP’s badassery. Nor do I think he’s afraid of anyone. I just think he’s 35 and put in years of winning for this belt, feels it’s his time and wants that gold. Conor is the only one who can bring another kinda gold that would be worth it for him. Not only in the risk of losing but injury..especially in these conditions yada yada. It’s one gold or the other or bust. That’s just my best guess.

ok, so tony wont fight justin because the ufc has no venue for the fight. but hes saying khabib is chicken and running when there is no venue for their fight either? what kind of ****** up logic is that?

@loudenswain, couldn't agree more.

Tony is a savage, period. His title shot is looooong overdue (after that amazing RDA 5 rounder he should have gotten that kind of respect IMO)

Dana doing what Dana does best... trowing **** around to make him and the UFC look like they're the ones to put on the show...when clearly without these underpaid savages he and his organization are just a bunch of criminals and bums... him stepping on fighters at any chance he gets is a way of keeping them underpaid

dana white is a lying *******, there is no doubt about that and really, i dont think very many people would dispute that fact. but tony ferguson is one breath away from the mental institution at all times. i dont usually watch press conferences because i find them mostly boring and you seldom learn anything important. but at the khabib/tony presser i saw a couple of things interesting. when tony asked the crowd if they thought he was in khabibs head he looked like he needed that reassurance for himself. also i saw a decidedly worried look on his face a couple of times. and before everyone goes off on me i will say that tony is the legitimate number one contender, and deserves the title shot, no doubt about that. but i stand by my earlier prediction, i think khabib mauls him like he does everyone. tony makes way to many mistakes and accepts bottom position way to easy to beat khabib. khabib doesnt fight in guard he either figure fours your legs or hes in half guard or side control. he spends very little time in guard.

yeah, conor/khabib 2 doesnt interest anyone except dana and conor. i have my own reasons why i dont mind the henry/jose fight. but i can understand why most dont like it.

also i wouldnt mind watching tony cut conor to ribbons as long as they dont strip khabib and make it for the title. if they were to do that i might actually say **** dana and the ufc and find myself another hobby.

its a good fight but i dont love the flyweight fighting the featherweight on a 2 fight losing streak for the bantamweight championship part of it

it would annoy me way less if there weren't three people who could immediately/deservedly fight for it

If they don't strip Khabib of the title for foiling everything the UFC is trying to uphold, that would prove they protect their fighters and there's no dignity left in the sport to begin with.
Khabib deserves to be stripped and fight the winner in an immediate scheduled match. Why does Tony get stripped of his interim because an injury but khabib is given a vacant belt against a last minute Iaquinta? The world acts as if he truly earned that belt. His career is dependent on beating Tony Ferguson for the world to know he is deserving and world champion. and once again, he pulls out of the fight because the circumstances are too much for khabib. He is 100% ***** and there's no argument. How many fights has khabib pulled out of now? I'll wait

Regardless whether what the UFC and Dana white are trying to do is ethical doesn't matter, they are doing their best to support their fighters and we should recognize that. Having fighters fly around and not being able to have optimal training/coaching is a problem, but if they're willing and want to support the UFC and continue to fight, we should let them. Everybody thinking this event was actually going to happen in New York is ********, if Dana says he has 4 or 5 locations, best believe that mo'****a has locations where he can get everything sanctioned and managed. I'm sure he was waiting to see if they allowed him to host the events at the Apex center so he can have full control of everything. Unfortunately Trump and Nevada's Governor have laid off their lobbying for hosting events in Nevada. I do believe Dana can handle these events and keep the show going. they have top notch health resourcing for their fighters compared to other sport athletes as well.
