Well Costa is out injured so I don't hate it. I've given up expecting the UFC to postpone fights in order to bring cohesion to the divisions. I think this is a decent test for Adesanya, but that said, Romero has seemed to content to stay at the end of his opponent's range too much for my liking in his last few outings. Izzy is boned if Yoel ends up on top of him early though.

Cannonier also is on the exact same card and his opponent just pulled out. I'm not saying I think cannonier deserves title consideration yet, but sliding him in would've been so easy.

Till also could easily slide in, I agree he hasn't earned it yet either, but if you're arguing that Yoel deserves another title shot even though he's either lost/missed weight on every single attempt so far; I think a better argument can be made for both Gorillas.

I can't shake the feeling that Adesanya may regret asking for this fight. He is by far the better striker and if he uses distance, feints and timing he could pick Romero apart all night long. But, I just have this feeling that Romero gonna catch him and put him out!

I don't see how Romero can win. If he uses his wrestling, he'll gas himself out. Adesanya has proven he has TDD on par with Whittaker's. He is an inferior striker. His main chance is to land a bomb, late in the fight as he did in Whittaker 2. However, in that fight I feel Whittaker punched himself out too early, allowing Romero the opportunity. Adesanya appears to have a stellar gas tank, and a formidable chin as well.

As a Chinaman, I'd love to see Zhang take it. But, I don't see how she'll have the skillset to keep up with Joanna. She could out power her, but Joanna has faced that style before.
