After the surprise of this fight who will JDS fight Next? Will it be the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and Original TUF match up in Brock Lesnar? or will it be the former K-1, DREAM, and Strikeforce Champion Alistair Overeem?

You mean, who will win between Brock and Overeem?  Not an easy fight to call, but I'm leaning towards Overeem...

Overeem should out strike brock but if he cant stop the takedowns may be a different story

@fglop I like that set up. I could see JDS beating either Brock or Reem and then losing to Cormier or Barnett.

I'd like to see Overeem go down to 205 - where he has fought numerous times in the past, including once in my presence when he annihilated Vitor Belfort at a pre-Zuffa Strikeforce event in San Jose back in June of 2006 - so that he can fight Jon Jones.

With Jones not being twice his opponent's size for a change, you never know what might happen.

I don't think Overeem will drop to 205 again. It totally killed his gas tank making the cut.

If Overeem can stop Lesnar dfrom taking him down then it will be a bad night for Brock. If Brock gets the takedown he willl probably GnP his way to a TKO. I do think Overeem will pull a win off and defeat Brock, then he will get his shot at JDS only to be knocked out quick.

But you know who I wouldn't mind seeing challenge JDS for the belt?

Cheick Kongo.

kongo? really? he got knocked down by FRANK MIR...what would JDS do other then kill him?

my idea for a challenger, other than the obvious brock vs overeem winner, would be barnett/cormier winner...heres hoping its cormier

I would love to see Cormier reach some success in the UFC Heavyweight division. But honestly, coming from a guy who isnt even a huge fan of JDS. I dont see any HW right now beating him.

My brain tells me to take Overeem, but I will actually be rooting for Brock to get this win.  I would love to see Overeem vs. Kongo if Overeem loses.  @Jersey.. a lot of fighters have been knocked down by Frank Mir.

I think it will be JDS vs. Overeem.  However, a fight against Lesnar would be an interesting match-up as well.  I see Lesnar getting KOed in this bout against Overeem though.

Lesnar vs Overeem is pretty classic striker vs grappler match and the betting odds are very close.

Overeem could win by brutal KO.  Lesnar could take him down and smash him up.  Or anything in between.
