Well.... Lemme think. Lancaster is probably the closest Amish community to me. About 45 mins. Now there are Amish, well Mennonite ppl that live in Harrisburg, but they live in normal homes amongst normal ppl. The Mennonites are less strict and live a more modern existence.

It's actually not too bad today... Starting the day off at 53° instead of the high for the day being only 50. Which is good. Cos I gotta lots of firewood I need to cut up for the weekend.. Having a fire and little get together.

Sounds fun I hope you have a good time at the wkend.
N yes they drive cars and are more liberal should we say. Obviously it's nothing to you but I'm just fascinated by that lifestyle and in a way sometimes feels little of that life wouldn't hurt anyone and would be a Fine break from the chaotic lifestyles we live nowadays.
Looking forward to some snow . Throw afew snowballs 😁
