Canelo will realise that weight classes exist for a reason and that Kovalev is far from finished. Also Canelo has always had problems with a solid jab, see GGG, Lara, Mayweather. Kovalev has a ram rod of a jab and that will be a big factor

The event is in Las Vegas, so if the fight is close whatsoever, Ithink Canelo will get the decision.

Álvarez vs. Kovalev
Canelo Álvarez, DEC
Right Place. Right Time. Right Opponent... That's what i think. And 87% of you also agree. That's smart thinking. We know Canelo and his team always hand pick their opponents. And wouldn't take a fight he doesn't think he can win. (This is with exception to Floyd Mayweather. That was more a money grab foe Canelo than anything) And he thinks Kovalev is a winnable fight. He's a big, household name. With a world title belt. Hes past his prime and Canelo is hoping to take advantage of that. He also said that Kovalev is the best at 175lbs.... Which we all know that is a buncha crap. He won't fight Beterbiev. Promise you.

Garcia vs. Duno
Ryan Garcia, DEC
On paper, it appears to be a **** matchup for Duno, who's also giving up 3" of height and 2" of reach against Garcia, who by the way, is also cleaner, faster and more technically savvy. So if Garcia is what he's advertised to be, you'd expect that he outclasses Duno, who has a very porous defense due to overcommitting on power shots, which will leave him open for Garcia's quicker, faster, cleaner combos. I expect Garcia to take the most punishment he's taken in all his fights to date, survive the storm and run away with the 2nd half of the fight...

Murtazaliev vs. Fortea
Bakhram Murtazaliev, TKO, R8
Bakhram Murtazaliev the biggest favorite on the card. Opened at -5,000. Now he's sitting expensively at -10,000.

Melikuziev vs. Collard
Bektemir Melikuziev, DEC
Clay Collard now a Pro Boxer... Was he a boxer before he was an MMA fighter?

Well he'll have to because if this fight is even remotely close or even if Kovalev doesn't literally beat the living **** out of him and score multiple knockdowns Canelo will get it.

Very grateful DAZN was half competent to move the Canelo/Kovalev fight to after the UFC pay per view is finished. If they were more intelligent they would have put it a different weekend to get more buys. Usually people with money are smarter than this.

@xconchris

DAZN is not pay-per-view, it's a subscription.

Whoops. Forgot about that. Streaming will do that to you lol. But it could work the same way i guess. Someone who would start a subscription tonight to watch the canelo fight might not because he puts his money toward the UFC pay per view. Plus i am sure they would loose rating if they were the same time and sponsors wouldnt be too happy as well.
