Dammit Spong!!! Failed the drug test so the fight is cancelled!!! I was actually interested to see how Spong would do against Usyk, no doubt Usyk would've out boxed him but still, I wanted to see it!!
Hopefully they find a half decent replacement so Usyk is in a competitive fight. Tough to do with only 4 days to go! But should be plenty people willing to take the chance and Matchroom should pay decent to save the headliner.

I've been following boxing since I was a kid and I have never heard of Chazz Witherspoon??? Tim Witherspoon yes, Chazz no!!!
Still, they had 4 days to find a replacement against Usyk!, A top 5 P4P guy. Whoever took the fight had no chance, but it was an opportunity, look at Andy Ruiz

Oh Chazz, thanks for stepping up and keeping Usyk on the card. I really think Usyk can make a real run at the big boys Wilder, Fury and Joshua (and Ruiz even tho I think he loses the rematch and disappears!) Usyk has supreme technical boxing ability, amazing footwork and he has precision and power. I don't think the size will be too much of an issue, I mean Wilder fights at just over 200lbs, I think he was 204lbs in the 1st Fury fight? Any man over 200lbs has KO power! Anyway Usyk puts on a show here and gets an early stoppage
McCaskill vs. Farias

I picked Farias the 1st fight and she was wining the fight at the beginning but couldn't keep up her high output and McCaskill took over late in a fun scrap. This time McCaskill is the home town crowd behind doesn't have the slow start and wins a clear decision
Conwell vs. Day

This should be a close fight. It's much more competitive than the picks suggest anyway. Patrick Day has better wins as a pro, Conwell has the amatuer background, hhhmmm I'm tempted to break my no underdog rule in boxing here!
Bivol vs. Castillo

I have a feeling Bivol will get a nasty KO here. It's been 3 fights since he got a stoppage so 1 is due, unlucky Lenny!!!

Well..... They did find a Heavyweight Replacement. So we'll still get to see Oleksandr Usyk in Heavyweight trim. I expect HUUUUUGE THINGS and a couple fights, he'll be chewing up the big names. I know the other day, I said that boxing's great again.... But Heavyweight Boxing is ******* great again. Annnd here's to hoping Usyk breaks the 3 fight decision streak.

Anthony Sims Jr. Keep your eyeballs on this kid. He's gonna be a contender down the road, whether at Super-Middleweight or Light-Heavyweight. He's gonna be a problem.
Doheny vs. Martinez

You could say Doheny had an off night last time out, by dropping a very winnable fight to him in Daniel Roman. He'll want to run that one back for sure.. Martínez has been KO'd 5x in his 9 losses, sooooo it's pretty much a fight for Doheny to get back on track. Expect him to start off fast and look to finish early

To be honest bud I don't think there is anything that can be done. It called a sport but it is a fight! The aim is to do damage, sometimes the damage is severe. It's a harsh way to look at it I know. Obviously safety measures have to be taken, medical care, good referee, commissions etc.
I hate seeing it but it is a part of fight sports
