In the entertainment age of the world Bellator is bringing real back to the sport. The times we live in today it seems that what you say has more weight than what you do. Fights get put together based on a war of words, because we pay attention to click bait simply by nature. The next best guy wont get the shot at a championship because he doesn't talk bad about other fighters.

Bellator's tournaments are giving us the structure we need. The winner moves on is exactly what is supposed to happen. How are we still not sure if TONY VS KHABIB is going to happen??? The old stars able to jump back in the mix for some money. And don't think i'm simply hating the game, I get it - money talks. Making money is great. But UFC is making their money at the expense of the legitimacy they spent years building. You'd never see the NFL bring back Steve Young to sell some tickets.

The tournament style is perfect because it presents the position that the only way a fighter doesn't move on is based on the fighters decision to not continue. In that age of ********, Bellator is bringing the mma world exactly what it needs.

I know its the way to do it. I like the way Glory does their tournaments too. If my memory is serving me correctly I believe thats how Glory decides the next title challengers most of the time.

Its the way to do things.

You'd never see the MLB say hey... Yankees sell way more tickets so even though the Angels won the penant... yankees in the world series is the game to make. hahaha

If any MMA promotion wants to be taken seriously, they have to care about who's the best, not who sells the most PPV's  Some people criticise ONE Championship, but the best actually fight the best in that promotion.
