Don't be too quick to write off Nonito Donaire.  He has some punching power himself.  See his 1 punch KO's of Vic Darchinyan and Fernando Montiel, 2 of the best KO's of this century.
Donaire is 1 of the best Bantamweights of this era too. So, again, do not write off The Filipino Flash.
Having said all that I will be picking The Monster!!!! Inoue may be the hardest P4P puncher in all of boxing at the moment.  He has great fundamentals to go along with it and is 1 of the best body punchers in the game too.  My only slight concern is cardio.  Inoue has blasted out all of his recent opponents in no more than a few rounds.  I do not expect Donaire to get put away early, so if this fight goes into the later rounds I'll be interested to see how Inoue cardio holds up.
As much as I like Donaire I'd like to see Inoue win only so we can get the fight between Inoue and the other hardest hitter in the game Luis Nery, who fights on the Wilder Ortiz II card.  THAT is a fight I NEED to see!!!!

Nonito Donaire as of late has not been the version of himself that defeated Vic Darchinyan twice.

@tepid...  Of course he has slowed down a little.  But he is more crafty and technical.  He has not become a bad boxer overnight. Donaire was P4P top 5 at 1 point in his career
Again, I never said Donaire would win. I'm just saying people shouldn't write him off like Inoue is gonna walk out and blast him in a round or 2. This is by far and wide Inoue's toughest opponent and I'm still interested to see how he'll do if it lasts say 6 or 7 rounds. I mean Inoue has fought about 10 rounds in total over his past 5 or 6 fights across 3 or so years!!!
I think it has the potential to be a great fight. A pity it is being broadcast on a Thursday night/Friday morning!  Why not put it on the weekend? I know they are catering to the Japanese fan base but at least if it was on the weekend more of us fans in UK, US & Europe could watch without having to worry about sleeping in for week

Maybe, maybe not?
All I'm saying is Donaire won't roll over.  I expect him to pose more problems than Inoue has faced in a long time, likely ever!
I expect Inoue to win just not in a round or 2

I'm considering putting  a cheeky £10er bet on the fight going to a decision.  8 to 1 for an Inoue Decision win.  I might just take those odds

That's pretty good. Donaire is good enough to survive. I mean he probably won't....but yeah, that's decent.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.  Obviously Inoue has been tremendous for the past few years, just destroying anyone in front of him, all World Champs at that. But I can see Nonito being smart, tough and tricky enough to last the distance, using that veteran savvy!.  Surely Inoue can't keep destroying EVERYBODY,,,, can't he???

Honestly I'm really seeing an end to it in favor of Inoue between R8 - R10. I too believe he's not gonna just smash thru Donaire in a few rounds, even 5 or 6. I think he's going to have to brutalize Donaire nearly 30 mins.

MOTOVIDIA make some nice 10 minute hype films for the big boxing events,

This is a good 1.  Not a lot of attention on what is a BIG fight!!!

Why is a fight with a current P4P top 5 and 3 weight, unified champion Naoya Inoue vs. a former P4P, multiple weight World Champion, future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire final of the World Super Series taking place on a Thursday????
Do they not want anyone to watch it???

Anyhoo! I AM STILL

Guess who never put my £10 bet on the fight going to decision after speaking about and breaking down in detail how Donaire was going to make the fight competitive and not get finished and lose a decision?!
Lost out on just under 10 to 1 odds, so I woulda won £100!!!!
AAAAAAGAGGHHHH!!!!!!!
How typical is that?  It's ALWAYS the bet's that I talk about but don't pull the trigger that end up coming in!
I am so PISSED with myself for putting that 1 on
