Kattar IMO. Not as good as getting it off as Stevens though.

I think Zabit Magomedsharipov might be the most well rounded featherweight in the UFC.

I would agree with that statement @tepid. Zabit poses a big problem for everyone in the top 15. I just have 1 or 2 tiny little things that I wish he'd work on, but they're not going to make or break him if he does or doesn't ... Dude's a monster nightmare matchup for MOST Featherweight's

If it was a 5 rounder I think I’d pulle the trigger and take Kattar.

Wait. Its not 5 rounds!? ALL title fights & main events are 5 rounds. It's in the rules or whatever you want to call it. The **** they show when they go over the rules and scoring criteria before the actual event starts.

I keep hearing it’s only 3. ODK. Hopefully I’m wrong. That’s a big prediction factor IMO

I think it's a 3-round fight because when it was originally booked, it wasn't the nain event.

I haven't seen much explanation for the main event being 3 rounds, except that it was short-notice. From Yahoo:

'“The two will face for a scheduled three rounds instead of the usual five rounds that UFC main events have typically been booked for in recent years. Kattar says that the move was yet another concession to the wishes of his opponent.

“I love that we’re fighting in the main event. I would’ve liked it to be five rounds but he didn’t want it to be five rounds. He wanted three rounds,” Kattar said.'

From the UFC:

"Taking the headlining spot for the card is the featherweight showdown between Zabit Magomedsharipov and Calvin Kattar, which will remain three rounds."

There was so many removes, my comment asking "why?" so many random and pointless gibberish was actually removed too.

The power of old testament Gregory is still powerful.

I guess I can understand that. The reason for keeping it 3 rounds. That's what it was originally scheduled for, and that's what they've prepared for is 3 rounds only... It actually explains the other question I had asked myself about why would say for example Yair Rodriguez vs. Jeremy Stephens go from 5 to 3, when this fight between Zabit/Kattar was & is 3. Big difference between preparing for 5 hard rounds then dropping to 3 rounds vs. Preparing for 3 hard rounds only to be forced into a grueling 2 extra rounds. Understandable

@hdmex "old testament gregory" LOL

here's actually how i look at it: your post wouldn't make any sense without Best Picker's posts still showing.  after the spam has been taken down, nobody would understand you you say "Why?" for no reason. no need to make you all look weird or crazy so I just take those replies down too.

Magomedsharipov vs. Kattar
Calvin Kattar, TKO, R3
Zabit is an incredible fighter with very well rounded skills, but he doesn't have the power to finish the fight standing, and if he can't get a submission he tends to slow down a bit after two rounds. Both Stephens and Bochniak gave him a hard round 3. Bold statement I know, but I think Kattar will finish him late.
