I really want to believe Kattar is one of the future "Guys" in the FW division, but the same can be said for Zabit, and he might already be further ahead on that path anyways. Even if there is an upset, will it really define the ceiling of what the loser is capable of accomplishing in the UFC? I don't think so. The most interesting aspect for me is if Kattar can make it last into the 4th and 5th rounds, then we'll see if Zabit's tendency to slow can be exploited. Still, I think the more likely outcome is a Sub/TKO for Zabit in the 2nd/3rd...
Volkov vs. Hardy

We can only hope that Volkov delivers the requisite beating we need in this Greg Hardy nightmare circus of can-crushing, illegal knees, "I Wanna Fight Ngannou"-ing, and obvious cheating. But since every Hardy fight it's always something new, I just don't know. He could conceivably be in the top 5(!?) of HW if he wins... Ugh....

I think Hardy bit off more than he can chew here. I have a feeling he won't travel well to Russia. If he needed his inhaler last fight. Imagine what he will look like in Moscow dealing with jet lag against a Russian fighter with 6 times the experience.
Hardy is still dangerous though. Volkov better be careful. He has been knocked out in the late rounds of fights he was winning.

Ok. It's weird for Hardy to be fighting on such little rest, kinda crazy, but I think its statement to how physically solid the man is. Volkov is on year break after losing consciousness. Quite the contrast.
I think Volkov is overrated. He hasn't beaten anybody that impressive in the UFC. Interesting he choked out Blagoy, but that was more than 5 years ago. Easy to root against Hardy but he has heavy hands and I dont think volkov knocks him out, yet has only submitted one dude in 10 years.
5dimes has volkov -290 and Hardy +235. Early dudes seem to be on Hardy. -290 implies 74% prob. That is off imo. I think it's still a good opportunity to ride this hated man.
They are the same age, one person has great mma experience with commensurate damage, the other seems completely unaffected by the hate or his battles, with everything and everyone.
I picture an ugly and intense fan reaction when Hardy kos him in first round.

I think this setting up to be a Hardy v Lewis or something like that next.
Hardy will only lose to someone that can knock him out or to a dude like Blagoy that wont get knocked out and will submit a less experienced fighter.
I'm really feeling Hardy here, haha
