There's sooo much pressure built up around this fight, mainly for Teofimo López. But from what I've seen, that's where this kid shines

Welllll, somebody's getting KO'd here. 26 combined wins. 24 combined knockouts... Keep an eye on this scrap. Could very well be FOTN.

So is this on ESPN+ instead now? This is stupid, it should be on ESPN 2 at the very least then.

@Meers @Daryn ... Absolutely 1,000% agreed. If you remember, ESPN did the same **** with that Souza vs. Hermansson card. It was originally scheduled as UFC on ESPN 3. But because I think it was Yoel pulled out, and Hermansson replaced him, UFC didn't think it was a high powered card anymore and took it off ESPN and made it UFC on ESPN+ 8. It's a buncha **** Maaaan.

I know there's a whole heap of data to be input on the site but it gets on my tits a little when there's a pretty big boxing card with less than half the fights on. I mean this is Teofimo on an ESPN Top Rank card and we don't get all the fights yet some random card that no one gives a **** about has all 20 fights! Sorry for moaning but statistics and data is something I deal with day to day so it bugs me more than it probably should!

FYI Max Dadashev was rushed to the hospital after needing help to walk backstage and then vomiting. He lost consciousness on the ambulance ride to the trauma center to have brain surgery to reduce swelling of the brain. It's not a good thing at all. I'll about, I do consider myself a bloodthirsty barbarian, but I don't wanna see someone receive a beating so badly, they need an emergency brain surgery. (Go ahead, downvote me for having a heart)

Yeah that was horrible. Really bummed me out and I ended up going to bed half way thro the main event after hearing he was going onto surgery for bleeding on the brain. Didn't feel right cheering for KO's after watching a young man suffer life threatening injuries for the same thing.   Much respect to Buddy McGirt for stopping the fight when he did as things could have been even worse tho bad as it was. I  will always remember watching Nogel Benn vs Gerald McClellan as a kid and McClellan was blinking and his mouthpiece was half in and out his mouth for the last 3/4 rounds but his cornerman was a joke and after McClellan eventually stopped in the 11th 5 minutes later he was in a coma.  What was even more sickening was that ******* Don King who'd walked out with Gerald waving his ******* miniature US flags was d****d over Benn waving a ficking Union Jack while McClellan was in a coma! Hopefully Dadasehev received treatment quickly enough for him to recover.
This is a reminder of what we're watching is life threatening.

@Mikey MCclellan was one of the final straws for me, I was never able to feel the same about boxing after that. And the boxing community just washed their hands of it.Like I understand what it is, and that these guys know what they're getting into, but the way promotions handle tragedies is sickening. Say what you want about the UFC but they at least try and do right by their fighters. Only guys who really Gerald out were RJJR, and Atlas. He shouldn't have been put in that fight to begin with, apparently he was getting weird neurological issues after the Julian Jackson fight.

Yeah that most likely could've been avoided.  The 1 good thing that came of that was promotors and the British BBC where required to have paramedics and transport to the A & E on site. Another thing that screwed McClellan was it took over an hour from collapsing to get to an emergency room.  Same thing happened with Michael Watson against Chris Eubank who actually was taken to a hospital that didn't have the equipment to treat him! So he had to be aent to another 1!
Yeah boxing is a brutal game, as are all fight sports and it's unfortunate that it takes some horrible **** like this happening for us to remember that fact

Also I never knew about the issues before the Benn fight. He came over to the UK with the reputation as the Tyson of Super Middleweight and he was favoured to destroy Benn inside a few rounds!
