Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points | Tied for 104th
Joshua Pacio, TKO, R3
I think Pacio will retain his championship.
Stamp vs. Nguyen
Nong Stamp, DEC
This should be a very good standup fight.
Balart vs. Catalan
Gustavo Balart, DEC
I think Balart uses his wrestling skills to get the decision.

Predictions: 7 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 405 Points | Tied for 206th
Joshua Pacio, TKO, R3
I don't see this being too tough of a fight for Joshua Pacio. Catalan is all but 41 yrs old. Even though he's in good shape, that age has to play a factor. Another thing, tho he's towards the end of the age spectrum for combat sports, hes rather young in MMA experience. Only having 8 total fights. He's riding a 6 fight win streak, but the last 2 are really the only meaningful ones vs. decent opposition. And he earned this title shot most likely for the stunning upset KO win over Yo****aka Naito earlier this year. Other than that, he doesn't deserve this spot IMO.
Folayang vs. Amarsanaa
Eduard Folayang, DEC
The "Landslide" trying to right the ship before it completely runs aground and beaches itself. Lucky for Folayang, he won't need that BJJ you know he's been forced into working on after suffering 2 straight R1 submission losses, both inside 2½ mins. But he will have to be a little cautious of Amarsanaa and his striking. I'd like to see Eduard finish more fights, but not sure this is the fight to do that with. If he's pushing for the finish, he's likely to leave an opening for Amarsanaa to catch him clean. Soo Decision Win it is.
Eustaquio vs. Tauru
Geje Eustaquio, DEC
I reeeaally don't know. I see this a little closer to 50/50 instead of a whopping 87% for Eustaquio. Toni Tauru has literally only won 1x in ONE. 1 win in 6 fights. And it was against Geje Eustaquio. By submission tooo. These guys have equally ****** records, so its a matter of who's gotten more or less ****tier in the 3 years that have passed since the 1st bout.
Stamp vs. Nguyen
Nong Stamp, TKO, R2
WMMA is usually underwhelming at best. But.... I do expect atleast an entertaining scrap here between these 2 ladies. Bi Nguyen has had a bit of bad luck lately, losing 4 of her last 6. But she will show up to fight and actually be willing to engage. But she's in for a tough night going H2H with a reeeaal skilled striker in Stamp Fairtex. This could actually end up being one of the better WMMA fights of the year when it's all said and done. Definitely not your beer/h20, ****/piss, dooob/cig break fight.
Naito vs. Mitsatit
Pongsiri Mitsatit, TKO, R1
I'm finding this to be the toughest fight to pick. I see it both ways and I can NEVER decide on those kinds of fights. I see it ending Very Early for Mitsatit. Anything from a flash KO :30 into it or sometime in R1. BUT if he doesn't get Naito outta there, and he's likely to have blown his load going for the finish, then I can see Naito surviving the swarm of ****, coming back & dragging Mitsatit into deeep waters and submitting him in R3. Tough call tho.

Joshua Pacio, TKO, R2
Catalan has a better chance than the picks suggest. He is well rounded and can finish everywhere. His biggest advantage is the grappling. Pacio was losing his last fight by being outgrappled by Saruta last time out and well on his way to losing a decision til he caught him with a Head Kick/Knee outta nowhere at the end of the 4th!! He is also outta Team Lakay, with their funky kick based Wushu style. I don't know here? Considering taking Catalan but I might just go with the safe pick in the Champ, HHmmmm????? Nah, Fck it! Pacio it is!!
Folayang vs. Amarsanaa
Tso****huu Amarsanaa, TKO, R2
I've never thought Folayang skill matched his percieved skill if you know what I mean? He is way worse than he gets credit for!!! Also, I have another rule I use for my picks, I ALWAYS BACK THE MONGOL!!!!! Guys have Genghis Khan blood in their veins!!! They conquered from China to Germany with nothing more than Swords, Arrows, Horses and CrazY!!!! Seriously, I have picked about 20 Mongolians that I can remember and over 15 have won, thats a good return! This guy got me an underdog win in his last fight v Wiratchia, a similarly over hyped guy like Folayang! C'mon the Mongols!!!!
Stamp vs. Nguyen
Nong Stamp, TKO, R2
Stamp will blast Nguyen out quickly. Unless Nguyen gets her down and controls. But Stamp has been working hard on her wresling and BJJ as shown in her last time out when the lifetime Muay Thai won with takedowns, GNP and a Sub!!! Nguyen has nothing for Stamp!!!!
Lumihi vs. Li
Kai Wen Li, TKO, R2
Kai Li is a bit of a Wild Man!!! I expect him to go all out for the finish here. Lumihi doesn't get finished but Li eventually overwhelms him
Naito vs. Mitsatit
Yo****aka Naito, SUB, R3
Mitsatit has that vicious knee and elbow strikes that over 100 Muay Thai fights, 80= wins gives you. If he gets a hold of Naito in the clinch early he could brutalize him, much like Catalan did. If Naito avoids the early danger he should control the fight with takedowns and threatening submissions til Mitsatit tires. Naito does that but it'll be dangerous for a minute or 3!
Balart vs. Catalan
Robin Catalan, SUB, R3
I cannot believe so many people on here are still picking the Wee Man! Balart is a legit Dwarf!!! He is under 5, listed at 4'11" probably 4'8" in reality!!! His reach aint much either!!! Apart from his ridiculous size disadvantage, he isn't very good. His wrestle only style doesn't translate with the ONE scoring system. Catalans style of constantly looking for the finish win serve him well here because Wee Man aint finishing him! So judges will side with the fighter looking to finish, thats if he needs the judges. Wee Man gasses too! Maybe a late finish
Kim vs. Nunes
Jae Woong Kim, TKO, R2
This is 1 of the toughest to call for me. Nunes is a llate replacement, like just a week ago. So I don't know if he is gonna stroll in and take the win like most people seem to be predicting. He isn't exactly on any great form either, got beaten up by Yamada, choked out in a minute by Ando with a win over Eric Kelly in betrween who hasn't won himself since 2013!!! So yeah, I think Nunes is being over rated here cause he's a Brazilian BJJ black belt. I'll stick with Kim, who I was picking to beat his original opponent, who's name I can't remember! Kim is pretty good, a champion in a Korean promotion, TFC I think, he has a recent KO win over UFC signee Woo Choi too. He gets a TKO win over Nunes who'll gas out after a couple rounds

Pacio also has good wrestling and submission skills unlike a lot of the other Team Lakay fighters.

I did pick Pacio to win here. I think he's an exciting fighter.I just won't be surprised if Catalan gets takedowns maybe even a quick sub

KO of the Year Contender!!!!
Predictions: 9 of 10 Winners, 2 Perfect, 610 Points | Tied for 30th with 2 others
I keep saying don't pick a guy who is 4'6" to win a fight against a trained fighter! 3x in a row now thd picks have been massively in his favour 3x in a row Ive picked him to lose and been proved right.
But forget that. What an absolute brutal KO from Catalan. Head Kick right off the side of the head and he was out before he hit the ground! Nasty!!!

Luminhi couldn't keep up and Li was on him. Finished him with a beautiful uppercut that switched him off! Like I said in my prediction, Li is a Wildman!!! I like him!
This card has been great!!! A KO of the year contender, round of the year and lots of finishes!
Up next Nong Stamp is always entertaining.
