Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 193rd

Here is what we know about tomorrow's schedule:

The preliminary card fights are set to begin at 1:40pm eastern time on Facebook.  For the moment, we've got the picks set to lock a little earlier at 1:00pm eastern time, in case the UFC changes things up.

As the fights go into the main card, we will continue to enter the results live onto the site AS THEY HAPPEN.  If you are planning to watch the main card on Spike TV in the U.S. at 8:00pm eastern time, and you don't want to know the results, you should be careful to avoid Tapology!!!

(and you should also avoid any other MMA site, sports site, twitter, facebook, and probably the entire internet).

DON'T SAY WE DIDN'T WARN YOU!

This tape delay **** is ********.... the card is free so why don't they just put it on TV when it airs? Would any other sport do something like this? No extra revenue is garnered and I don't even understand it from a ratings standpoint as casual fans don't even know there is a card tomorrow, and if they do find out, once they find out who's fighting, they won't care. They will lose more viewers from the hardcores mostly knowing what happened already than the casuals that would tune in at 9 and not at 2. Swear to god once I get my Marketing degree the UFC needs to scoop me up quick!!!

Spike is an entertainment station and considers UFC entertainment, not sports.

I don't like it either.

So it's solely Spike's decision and not the UFC's? If that's the case, do you think that FX will abandon that model as they seem to be actually trying to build another major sport?

I don't know if it's solely Spike's decision but I'm sure they want it at night, not during the day.

What they should do is 2 airings.  Show it live and then show it at night for the people who don't know the difference or don't care.

That's exactly my thoughts, I don't see how that hurts things at all in even the tiniest of manners.

Is there nowhere to watch it in the states live? I'm pretty sure they're showing it live on sportsnet in Canada, so I assumed it'd be on at least one American channel.

Yeah it's live in Canada, I don't understand why they don't show it live in the US too...

And they show it at night too.

Spike needs as many rating points as possible for 1 showing. Having the ratings spread out through multiple time slots isn't good for selling advertising. So they put it on at a high volume hour where they will get the most ratings points as possible. I really expect to see this with about the same ratings as any fight night card.
